Slots have been drawn 'In-house' for the popular $0.00 driver challenge comp for Friday night entertainment. Across the 20 races Waikato and Addington. SLOT 1) Karrots , goes in favourite having taken out the NzCup comp and the first driver challenge , draws ALL the Lady Drivers driving at both tracks. SLOT 2) Happy Sunrise, draws a fine in-form horseman he admires in John Dunn in the south and might 'Storm' to victory because of that (as Karrots did previously), and Happy has James Stormont 'storming home' as his Waikato Rep too. SLOT 3) Rusty, as Happy's Jnr apprentice has scored Plum Newman , B Hope and ALL the male Junior drivers racing at both tracks. Mark Dunnett sure to 'give a sight?' lol... SLOT 4) Blackie, has sacked Mark Purdon after the disappointments of round 1 , (the only person ever to sack the great man) and has adopted his 'stand-in' on Self Assured. M. McKendry in the North (steered Self Assured to victory last week) The very In-form John Morrison is Blackies southern man . A morrie-mac combo for Blackie. SLOT 5) Josias, Winner of Karrots comp last week-end so is very 'Hot to Trot' ! The Josiah Mesiah has drawn the gods of driving ! Mr's T Herlihy and B Orange ! a true blessing. SLOT 6) Globe Derby, a long time supporter of harness draws the boys that have been around a long time ... Todd Mitchell (north) and Ricky May (south) SLOT 7) Lightning Blue , having been saddled with cluelessness , so has been unfortunately handed the prize of David Butcher for being critical .. Com'on David !!! you know 'Caulfield' can win , you can do it ......drive him up a bit towards the end ?.... Williamson for LB at the Addington track. SLOT 😎 😎 Double R , Robert probably not happy getting Pete Ferguson and Craig Thornley , but you just have to roll with the punches. SLOT 9) Far Too Much, a great keen trots supporter has drawn the great keen trots driver Tim Williams . and a very quick and nimble Ben Butcher drives for him in the Waikato. SLOT 10) the final slot goes to TROTSLOVER , what a great name !!?, I'm sure it describes all the slot holders !! Field Commander is MIA so misses out. Trotslover has drawn Dylan Ferguson in the Waikato and Gerard O'reilly in the south. RACE NUMBERS and HORSE NUMBERS the drivers are in and on , Will be posted Up tomorrow on this thread. A great start for TEAM TEAL and the ambassador Karrots winning the 2nd in the Cambridge slop. And the girls have 3 x 3rds already too in just 4 races. LB has the WINNING BONES sort of feeling to trot off with a winner, Blackie thinks GLORY !!! and is delighted with Glory Delight at Addington. Robert has come out of the gate QUIK with Quik Barbie winning for Matty White. POINTS after 4 Races . >>>> Karrots in the Teal shows the way on 6pts , .................. Blackie , Robert and Lightning all 3 pts with a winner each Globe, Happy, Far Too Much and TrotsLover all 2 Pts each with a 2nd placegetter. Josias 1 pt. Meanwhile Rusty back in contention with the Junior Sam Thornley blasting home in the trot with Royal Pride after galloping and All? . Lightning Blue relying on Matty Williamson with 2 wins from 2 so far, Go Cranbourne !!!! as David Butcher gets 'Zip' at Cambridge with 'Caulfield' and 'ClaudiaS'. **The girls proving superior drivers in NZ and Karrots hasn't even called on Nat yet ?? lol. Team teal Karrots now on 10 points after 7 races, LB on 6 pts , Robert 5 , Happy and Rusty 4, Globe and Blackie 3, Trotslover and FarTooMuch 2 , Josias 1 .... The Lady drivers had 12 drives in the first 10 races at Addington and Cambridge between them, and ran an Incredible 9 placings (4 Wins) !!! So Karrots (18 points) goes back to ZERO for the second half of the challenge and lets see if she can LAP the field , with 11 drives in the 2nd half. I guess she (Nat) gave Lochard Shard a better trip 1-1, but only 1 win from 4 drives tonight for Natalie Rusmussen. That must register as a failure I guess. ? Matty Williamson the beneficiary of having the 'Lucky' Lightning as his ambassador with three wins and a group 1 win tonight in the Nz Standardbred Breeders Stakes. Robert with a Quinella in the trot! with Gold Chain and Ruby Ridge ($35) and a place with the Dominator at Addington to pick up 7 more points . Lightning Blue with a Matty Williamson hat-trick and Group 1 win. Well done Matty. Karrots sees Ellie Barron win a 2nd time at Cambridge with MIMI E Coco to give the girls yet another win this evening !! astounding. DRIVE of the NIGHT ======== Crystal Hackett on Son of Patrick . A junior driver dealing with 35m handicap, and going around in the famous Roy Purdon Colours . Group 1 was mares race that was won by' Bettor Talk Art 'and Robbie Close. Another junior lass wins the last at Addington in Olivia Thornley to give Team Teal an incredible night. Your team of girls literally lapped the field Karrots , because they were that far in front. 😂😂😄 so started again half-way to give the boys a chance . so the girls (lady drivers) finish with a 1st ( for first half) and a 4th (in second half 10 races) . Proving to be Twice as good as the boys tonight. Very impressive for Team Teal. A few of the girls like Olivia , Crystal and Ellie just junior drivers too. Not sure what happened to Enjoy Me >. might have had a gear malfunction for Ellie ?.
