He's electric. 2 1/4 The caller must have had a dollar on the margin option It could have turned out to be a disaster though for Catalyst CATALYST (T Harris) - Held up rounding the final bend and after receiving slight contact from ZELENSKI shifted outwards abruptly making firm contact with RUN TO PERFECTION near the 400 metres. Maximus Posted November 10, 2019 Share Posted November 10, 2019 The thing I remember most from that win was the almost violent move sideways by Catalyst on the corner. It was dodgems there for a moment and could have resulted in disaster. Luckily Catalyst's momentum was not affected as he rebounded off the other horse (Run To Perfection, I think) who had him in a pocket, or so his jockey thought. The upside of that is, it shows Catalyst is strong enough to take a decent knock or two. Brilliant acceleration. Wonder what time he'd have run if the pace had been on from the start.
