Globederby19 Posted September 8, 2022 Share Posted September 8, 2022 The truth behind these lenient sentences is because the judiciary has been told not to place them in prison if possible because there is no one to look after them and no space to put them, in a decimated and underfunded prison system and because of their stupid mandates. I have a good mate in Rimutaka as a prison warden who has told them to stick it after 17 yrs . He is now asked to do 12 hr shifts and fill in for absences.
