ngakonui grass
JMO but i think there has been to many prexmas meetings up north. Could lead to small crappy fields over the XMAS NEW YEAR period.
Hesi
It's all about turnover NG, just look on the TAB website and see how many meetings they cover each day
mardigras
An increase in racing as you know Hesi, doesn't correlate with more turnover. Fewer races, fewer markets, lower costs. Likely still has a similar punting profile. More net revenue (obviously to a point).
Hesi
The TAB thinks it does though
ngakonui grass
Size of the fields tomorrow would indicate too much racing or horses choosing to go elsewhere. Still a good crowd will be in attendance due to a tradition of racing at TGA over the summer. Hesi
Tauherenikau is the same People will flock to both these meetings and they will get a bigger oncourse attendance than Ellerslie today, where the infield looked like a ghost town

How is it that Te Aroha, just 30 minutes away over the Kaimai ranges, get almost double the number of horses
ngakonui grass
JMO but i always compare Gate Pa to Waipa in the ways its shape and that leads to horses for courses, where as Te Aroha suits many more horses.
