    She really has come on as an older mare. I can remember when she used to get the odd surprise win at really long odds, often in the softer ground, and now she's just a professional.

    Fortunate Alexander Feildes doesn't have horses in. I remember an interview they did with him at Trentham asking him how his horse would run and he said "should go well, it's trained to the minute!" The horse didn't run the best and after the race they asked him what happened and he responded " .. the race started late."

    I love the ones that have gone on to nannying roles 🙂 We've always used old standardbred geldings and it's beaut to see some of the old quieter tbred blokes doing the job too 🙂
