  1. Pete might be visiting my trophy room Max and find one to meet your needs. Being Interdominion Grand Final Day Today, he better not take that one from the Lightning Blue Win at Addington with great memories attached . (or the Nz Trotting Cup either). perhaps one of those old Cox Plate galloping things might be the go? ..πŸ˜πŸ†πŸ˜‰
  2. And here's the Interdominion Trotting Final. with the poor scheduling (Nz had it's BIG GROUP 1 race day , Derby Day last Sunday at Addington) No Nz trainers could make it over. Best we have in the trotters is Queen Elida for her Nz owners and ex-pat kiwi trainer Brent Lilley ...will be NZ rep as best we can do. Just Believe won all his heats last year in the Interdominion and looks set to repeat from the good draw. Jess Tubbs and Sugars partnership might be hard pressed to Win the Pacers Final (field above) with Better Eclipse from the second row draw , but should make up for it here with Just Believe looking Good to retain the Title as best trotter Southern Hemisphere. $265,000 No NR. 3. Yeah he was a real beauty . Albion Park here address is even named after him when road entry was redeveloped . Albion Park is in Yulestar Street .. how neat. And the field is out . Grimson got the one and three . you wouldn't read about it. Anyway Larry (Leap to Fame) might give it a shake anyway (hopefully lol). 4. Not as much luck with Swayzee . getting 4 back on the fence and having No luck in getting out for Cam Hart and trainer Grimson. finished 4th and safely into Grand Final next week. Jack Trainor (kiwi lad) will drive stable-mate Nerano. None of you guys would remember the last INTERDOMINION Grand Final at Brisbane , but the kiwi's were heavily involved, So....Check out this video for HOW to Win the Interdominion when placed 4 back on the Fence at the quarter .πŸ†πŸ’°πŸ‘πŸ˜‚ INTER DOMINION GRAND FINAL FIELDS 2023 PACING FINAL (not in barrier order): Leap To Fame, Nerano, Better Eclipse, Swayzee, Classie Washington, Pete Said So, Spirit Of St Louis, Speak The Truth, Future Assured, Kanena Provlima, Turn It Up, Our Money Rocks. 5. Cam Hart is such a good driver no wonder he's winning all these races. Spirit of St Louis nearly had the Heat won after sitting 1-1 in the running and sweeping up to tackle the local Speak the Truth. But Cam had gone from 3 back the fence , to angle 4 out in the bat of an eye turning for home and rushed up to take the Win outside of Spirit with yet 'Another' Grimson horse in NERANO , an ex new zealand horse who is barely qualified for this grade . Cam just drives them too well I think, and keeps knocking off the good horses ... At least Spirit should get in the Grand Final now and have another crack at it anyway. Cam hart will be driving Swayzee in that so Nerano mightened feature (hopefully not anyway as want Larry to win it from Spirit lol ) Heat tonight just completed >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1st 1 NERANO CAMERON HART FT - - 2.10 1.20 2nd 7 SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS LUKE MCCARTHY FT - 1.80 3rd 3 SPEAK THE TRUTH ADAM SANDERSON FT - 1.50 4th 10 OUR MONEY ROCKS CHRIS GEARY BL
  6. And bet you love Eagles now too Rex !! Loch Eagle takes out the Ingham . you're soaring like an Eagle today and Congratulations on All the winners !! . looks like you get a Lucky 7 Final spot now. Don't worry about the PJ swab. (just slip the attendant a carton to pee in the Cup when no-ones looking)
  7. Thought it was a new Handicap system they were trying out .😁 Like at the trots used to be with Lordship and Cardigan Bay and others from 100 yards behind. The real good horses kept back in the barrier to give the others some chance
  8. com'on mate. get near the placings a couple of times then chuck in the towel? . (sounds like Blackcaps and Allblacks) ....Kick up and hit the lead old mate. 1. Trentham R4/ 2-5-9 2. Trentham R5/ 3-7-11 3. Trentham R7/ 2 -3- 9 4. Trentham R8/ 10-11-13 BB It's a Double Lightning Strike!! . excellent. (Desert Lightning and Lightning Jack in the TAB Classic) . Looks like Best bet time 🍻 and straight into the final by the look of it PJ ? πŸ˜‰πŸ’° 5. Randwick R6/ 3 - 6 -9 6. Randwick R7/ 2 -8 -10 7. Randwick R8/ 3 - 5 - 8
  9. Thanks for that πŸ‘. .....yes of course a South Islander. 🍻 He's had a great (and busy ) year . 19 starts for 7 wins and 5 x 2nd placings so far and $550,000 in prize money. would of near cracked the million for the year if could of grabbed Betterzippit late on in the $1,000,000 Nullibor race in April. Still might win the Interdominion yet ..... and get to the million for the year. would be fantastic for All those owners. πŸ†
  10. He's a lovely horse that bloke !!. A former North Islander with a whole heap of owners in New Zealand and Australia. Running 2nd here to the local Champ LEAP TO FAME tonight. Grant Dixon is nearly the greatest bloke I've met in 45 years near the sport. So nice if he can win. Leap to FAME 's owner already a multi millionaire though (but has propped up Brisbane Harness racing for decades) so i really hope ......... either Spirit of St Louis or Leap To Fame can WIN the final and stop the Grimson train in it's tracks .
  11. Well Grimson might of made off with the NZ Cup with a miracle winner in SWAYZEE. now for his next trick . After winning the last 2 Interdominion Grand Finals with battlers (old tried horses) that never won again after that, and were sacked by him . surprise surprise. Now he has ex New Zealand horse NERANO winning tonight in the second round 2023 . Beating Aus Group 1 winner Better Eclipse easily and the Mark Purdon owned Auckland Cup winner Turn It Up . Nerano a 2 win from 16 starts in NZ in a slashing ?? 1.59 MR at Addington fastest time. Of course Grimson can knock off 2 the best in Australia with it !!! why not ? he's had 49 miracle horses so far winning about 200 races that they wouldn't of won without him . The Miracles continue ...........................
  12. Thanks Hesi , Maris and PJ for some fine Saturday action. Feeling the Hat-trick of major events is on >> after the World Cricket Cup πŸ† (Aus defeating India) , and New Zealand Trotting Cup (Swayzee for Australia defeating Akuta ) and now for a Lucky 7 to complete the set (LB defeating Hesi πŸ†πŸ˜‰πŸ») Hesi has sent his runners to Sandown too , that'll make it tougher for him 😁 1. 13. I think Simon Baker could be my full brother . beautiful manners with The Aussie chivalry and even on 2 wheels like any good trotting bloke at one part of it πŸ˜‚ 😁 whatta ripper he is.
  14. Oh ... he so nearly made it too. They both got a good flap up but bird 2 baulked the last bit as bird one survived as got under the rail Absolute curtains for bird 2 .
  15. Well done Robert driving home with a trifecta in that one. bit of trotting stamina required. PJ racing along with the speed of an 'Everest runner' early on, but has tired late. more treadmill work required PJ ? πŸ˜‰
  16. R1 - 1/2/4 R2 - 1/2/5 R3 - 1/2/3 R4 - 2/6/9 R5 - 3/6/8 R6 - 2/3/4 BB R7 - 1/4/6 thanks PJ .good luck to all.
  17. Well that was quite a thrill . the catch by Travis Head to remove the Indian Captain , with THE BIG SHOW bowling it . Fantastic. Maxwell doing so well bowling and batting this tournament. My 60th Birthday yesterday and what a celebration tournament it's been in the lead up to the big day . Loved the Baggies winning 9 IN a ROW , and pinging off the Poms , (the Black-caps by just 6 runs in a very exciting game in the mountains) , then the Protea's and then a Billion INdians in their national SPort . Well it is the Aussie National sport too, so how Fantastic they delivered and had to read Maxi and co here hate them , no chance from Hesi-meister etc etc but I guess you're spose to not be a fan I spose (being the main opponent) the Poms copped it as we retained the Ashes, and we popped the Indians like a bubble in the World Test Cricket Championship this year too !! wahoo ( a feat Nz had obtained too beating India in the first one as well) How good ! good to see the Aus were 'some chance' Hesi mate, instead of none you predicted. and the 6th OneDayWorld Cup win for the Baggies. that was a VERY QUIET 130,000 people in the stadium there in India . sounded like 130 the last 10 overs. think i'll stay up and crack a b'day bubbly to celebrate now . !! cricket WIN Wahoooooo 😁 !! but 60 (yikesπŸ™„)
  18. Yeah one bloke got a century ... so there's No reason someone else couldn't in the match 🏏. Baggie Greens are quite good in Finals (unlike South Africa) the Protea's having won 15 of the last 18 clashes before this Semi-Final as well against Oz. so they should of been chock full of confidence. History of choking them though. INDIA unlikely to Choke like that..... but 'Zero chance' is Not quite right for the Baggie Green chances. India $1.40 v Australia $2.80 is the actual odds. Get your $100 on India then matey if 'zero chance opponent' . Might be easy 40 bucks of drinks shout on you ? πŸ˜‰πŸ»
  19. A good start anyway . SA won the toss and decided to Bat as you do . But the score after 11 overs is 22 runs and 3 out including De Kock. surely the Aussies can't 'cock it up' now from this great position?.πŸ˜πŸ•ΊπŸπŸ«£
  20. Well that was a bit draining .up until after 2am and so hopeful the kiwis could get there with Williamson going well. India so close to 400 runs was a big chase . How bloody small are those grounds ? they seem to just clip some gently and they went flying into the crowd. someone there probably died with a ball between the eyes they were packed in that tight. The kiwis got well past the 300 but just that lack of 30 runs or so from Latham I think was the telling blow to the chase. I'm nervous already with the Aus chase coming up soon against the Protea's. How do they talk there in South Africa ? something like " o Moy goud.... doz fooken oostrayliahns ... hut the fooken Ball so fooken far , moy tem wuz cumpletly rrrrooted futchin ut all de toim .
  21. Here's What can happen when you wind up a bit of Johnny Cash slow-pace into a dance Beat . It get's some Tap and dance-floor and Ballroom dancing going πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί especially if you're on an aircraft carrier.
  22. Bit of both , I've always got ones that i'm fond of so can run with head or heart happily enough. and get a run for the money most of the time either way. Been taking the Alligator and Brightside a bit lately (from the heart and history) and they were both rolled narrowly sadly in the Cox . and rather strangely again yesterday by a 'Jenni '. lol. You're a pretty good judge and possibly from what you've seen so far India are the logical favourite with head thinking, but the Black Caps have made the Final the past 2 tournaments , and the 'heart' surely wants to get them over the line this time.?? com'on mate . get a tenner on em. that'll give em a boost and a nice dinner for you too. You accurately picked the Soooth Afriikaans to pluck the rugby by one point . But they probably wouldn't of, if it wasn't for the dreaded 'send-off' of the AB captain. fire up the heart mate . you're running cold blooded ? πŸ˜‚
  23. Give it to em Hesi mate. give em the kitchen sink and swing it like mad. and throw it at the indians. Here's the 8 Possible results left. Ideally the 2nd option looks best at 11 -1 . bring it home !!. (would also settle for option 7 at 12-1 πŸπŸ˜‰ ) lol. would be quite dandy the Stage of Elimination (as indicated in brackets) for each named team for the ICC Cricket World Cup Finals. R/U = Runner Up. 1/ Australia (Champions), India (R/U), South Africa (Semi-Final), New Zealand (Semi-Final) 2/ Australia (Champions), New Zealand (R/U), India (Semi-Final), South Africa (Semi-Final) 3/ India (Champions), Australia (R/U), South Africa (Semi-Final), New Zealand (Semi-Final) 4/ India (Champions), South Africa (R/U), Australia (Semi-Final), New Zealand (Semi-Final) 5/ South Africa (Champions), India (R/U), Australia (Semi-Final), New Zealand (Semi-Final) 6/ South Africa (Champions), New Zealand (R/U), India (Semi-Final), Australia (Semi-Final) 7/ New Zealand (Champions), Australia (R/U), India (Semi-Final), South Africa (Semi-Final) 8/ New Zealand (Champions), South Africa (R/U), India (Semi-Final), Australia (Semi-Final)
  24. Stunned by that IMPERATRIZ performance . what a Win . had them well covered. Opie cool as a cucumber too. and says wants to go to Royal Ascot next year now. Wouldn't that be something. Ferdies are pouring it on, just like Imperatriz too ???
  25. best of luck Ferdies and Turbo's on GF Day πŸ†. Congrats Howie on leading up the PJ Magnificent 7 list (and indeed the magnificent 39 players in total ) no easy task and you've done very well to achieve that πŸ†πŸΎ . (so maybe time to just have a easy day today with No need to add to your total today πŸ˜‰ lol. ) Let's do it Chiefs ! 1. Riccarton R5 / 2 - 14 2. Riccarton R6 / 3 - 5 3. Riccarton R7 / 10 - 13 BB 4. Riccarton R8 / 3 - 5 5. Riccarton R9 / 2 - 3 6. Flemington R5 / 2 - 5 7. Flemington R6 / 6 - 9 (who is this kiwi one in this? πŸ˜‚) 8. Flemington R7 / 1 - 2 (still getting over the gator' and bright' one getting rolled in the Cox 🫣 ) 9. Flemington R8 / 5 - 11 BB 10. Flemington R9 / 9 - 12 thanks PJ . best of luck to win the title yourself today !! from LB
