  1. Purchased of Alan Jones
  2. I really thought Sky Heights was going to be relegated in the 1999 Caulfield Cup
  3. Watching the way the wicket was playing, sounds like I’m talking track bias lol, I kept thinking Dhoni is taking this too casual , he’s going to put a lot of pressure on himself come the finishing overs, sure enough brilliant fielding from Guptill ran him out Mate you were the one who taught us that value applies to Sport as it does racing, you even said in a previous post that 240 was proving valuable so at the $5-40 NZ were definitely value Yes we followed your holiday sounds like you had a great time, I was very envious as my 18 year old Daughter was on a 6 week World holiday with her boyfriend at the time ironically she also went to Iceland off all places stayed at the Blue Lagoon, they have signs up around the lagoon saying recommend time in the Lagoon is one hour she thought na we’ve paid $800 a night to be here let’s stay in the Lagoon for 4-5 hours took her 2/3 days to cool down No signs of Bjork either Go the Black Caps
  4. The Black Caps CAN!!!!!!
  5. I think so Virgil the law of averages says we’re over due
  6. The mighty usually fall in one of 3 ways 1) Greed 2) Cheating all aspects (Includes on their partner) 3) Drugs
  7. Unfortunately I’m not capable of writing sophisticated algorithms so I identify factors that are most important to myself The most important factor speed maps/race shape are my horses suited or not I know the expectations limitations of their ability what time are they likely to run there first 600 last 600 the final arbiter to Bet or not to Bet In the long run it’s all about profit it doesn’t matter how you get there
  8. You’ll get there Alan, you don’t need tools like Betfair Angel or Betfair Pro you can do it yourself I’m as sceptical as they come why would someone sell a system if you can make a fortune yourself,in the long run the very select few will be trading against one another. You said NZ should reach 250 that’s a fair call 10 runs an over from here on in They will then be handed the new ball often an early wicket occurs once this happens the price that was once $5-30 about the black caps has well and truly gone you’ve backed them at $5-30 to win you now lay them immediately at $3-75 to lose business is done you switch over to State of Origin for whom you have backed NSW to win the series after Qld had initially won the first origin match put ya feet up and crack open a tinny or if you’ve fallen from the more sophisticated side of the tree ya sipping on the finest of fine red wines 82 million matched on BF so far This is why we need a Universal TAB with a takeout rate of about 6% across all markets it would put an end to everyone else
  9. NZ probably value right now at around the $5-30 mark they will probably lose the match but will come out all guns a blazing the last 4 overs take an early wicket and come into around $3-75 at which point you trade out Australia right now Value at $2-26 you will be able to back both teams within the first 10 overs for a profit
  10. 16 out of the last 20 World Cup matches have been won by the team batting first The last 4 overs expecting to see the cricket ball hit into the Southern Hemisphere

Awesome to hear Mark McNamarra is going to be on Sky , the $$$$ would’ve been too good to refuse Matt Cross is a good replacement for the Sth Island
  12. R1 03-05 R2 02-03 R3 02-04 R4 03-05 R5 04-09*BB R6 03-05 R7 01-07 R8 01-08 R9 01-05*BB R10 01-08 Thanks PJ good luck Graeme go Friggers
  13. What about those value bets Hesinator came up with to win Brian’s comp you guys would be favourite’s
  14. I actually watched this being broadcast live, It is the biggest waste of time and money, they actually had this bet type many years ago and it failed miserably Now they have introduced it again putting a spin on it hoping to attract younger punters , who are they kidding More is actually less the more bet types that are introduced the less the pools become there is only so much money that people have to invest each week All they achieve is spreading people’s money over more Bet types with the end result eventually leading to less payouts What we need is less bet types and an amalgamation of all Tabs and create something like a World TAB
  15. 1) I think you stick to Saturday only 2) Win only you use the highest price of the 3 tabs, (tote odds not fixed) as too many people will be disadvantaged not understanding BF 3) You only need use a $1 win bet as it works out exactly the same in the long run 4) NZ races and Australian races only 5) Cut off time 11-59am NZ time 6) You have teams of 3 eg Mardi/Barry/LFV might be one team Say no more/TC/VvD might be another team Sir C /Jenlove:/Maximus might be another team Gee/Dogstar/? Might be another team Pete/Hesi/? might be another team VC!/Gypsy Nicks/? Might be another PJ/Sharne/Jamison might be another Brian/Rosina/Betty might be another etc etc etc etc you get the picture 7) Each player has 3 picks that makes 9 in total for the day 😎 To qualify for the $500 prize it obviously goes to the team with the highest total but that team must be in profit at the end of the 28 weeks 9) At the end of the comp the winning team members will select 1 runner each to run in the first 3 any race anywhere the runner must be paying a minimum of $2 for a place The $500 will be put on their 3 selections as a multi eg $2 x $2 x $2 would equal $8 ...500 times the collect would equal a minimum of 4 thousand of which each player in the team would collect 1k this would leave 1k over of which $500 would be returned to you Hesi and the remaining $500 to start up another comp and do it all over again
  16. Well done Why Worry? Some excellent selecting We have no excuse’s truly outclassed
  17. R1 02-14 R2 02-06 R3 02-03*BB R4 03-05 R5 03-04 R6 04-09 R7 02-08 R8 09-12 R9 01-05 R10 02-13*BB Thanks PJ good luck Gordy all the best Friggers
  18. To answer one of your questions when I go through the fields and i’m Rating each horse against one another I don’t even look at the difference in weight I used to and I say USED TO look at barrier draws I was of the mythical belief that barriers played a large part in the horses performance I have now discarded barriers to some extent I still look at speed maps which dictates the likely tempo of the race, and if a race is looking like the first 600 is going to be run at a cracking pace and the horse drawn wide is a likely leader Then the barrier comes into play having said that any barrier comes into play as they are likely to cut at one another As for the Melbourne Cup I put some serious coin on the race so treat it very seriously I agree the best horse is likely to win and the best horse is not necessarily the favourite Things might be different this year Its a process of elimination half the field won’t stay the 2 mile I will narrow the field down to about 6 and invest accordingly Order of entry Will they won’t they make the field Quarantine need all be considered along the way, to completely rule out a horse because it has 55+kgs is just utter madness but going on the last 2 years and the class of trainer in O’Brien and Appleby they know what type of horse it takes to win this race they know they can qualify with next to nothing on its back even if Colin Carpenter raises the weight by 1kg
  19. That’s the beauty of Horse Racing the frustration and exhilaration That’s the beauty of this comp not only can we enter horses into the black book but under the subtitles IOU we can enter our worthy winning nemesis who we should’ve could’ve would’ve anywho we always have next week for redemption Yes Pohutukawa was in my Black Book I think I had my BB on that race loomed looked likely just peaked Hopefully this is our last stop as far as moving is concerned....maybe with a bit of luck we can add Mardi Bazza Curious and LFV to a team they can be called the Invincible’s I’m sure if they gave it a go they would really enjoy it
  20. Your not wrong Last week you had Duca Valentinois and The 2nd horse and I had Live and free this was the difference between you winning and me winning check out live and free https://www.punters.com.au/news/duca-valentinois-prevails-in-mumm-thriller_181317/
  21. Things to consider The last 3 Cup winners have carried 51kg 51.5kg 52kgs 35 out of the 150 cups have been won by the fav 71 of the favs have finished in the top 3 (47%) Not one mare has won the cup in the last 13 years the last mare to win was the freak MD 9 Stallions have won the cup in the last 13 years 90/150 Stallion/Colts have won the cup No horse over the age of 8 has won the cup I think only two 8 year olds have won the cup 137 out of the 150 Cups have been won by horses aged less than 7 The NH 3year olds have been rolled out the red carpet as Mardi has said and the likes of Aiden O’Brien has a truckload of 3 year old colts in his barn between him and Charlie Appleby they know exactly what type of 3-4 year old it takes to win this race they will be gifted into the race No longer is the cup treated as a handicap which is supposed to equal things out ability wise Once the first acceptances are released I know exactly where my focus will be on and I can tell you now it’s highly unlikely it will be at the top end of the weight scale

    Chris Waller

Waller is a super star, his staff are well looked after slings galore He also was pushing for training to start a little bit later in the morning He is always promoting the sport, and pushed hard for The Autumn Sun to race on, he realises patrons/public need to form an association with certain horses, how can they when the studs retire them before they are out of nappies The people’s champions will always be female now eg Makybe Diva Black Caviar Winx The AJC realise this hence the introduction of a new race called the Golden Eagle introduced to keep these stallions in work for at least another season CJW no doubt at Royal Ascot sussing Out just whom he can take over there next year For a bloke who came over here with nothing winning his first race at Gosford from memory he has just broken the record this season training 18 group one winners he was equal with the legendary Tommy Smith on 17 now the record belongs to the Captain Foxton Fantastic
