I'm picking Bensons Mate is perhaps missing the fresh air of Woodend Beach a just a smidgen.

Afterall, horses can be funny like that 😉

The horse Johnny Nevits must love Woodend Beach too.

He didn't want to leave, and go to Addington last night.

Oh see you had started a thread on it just here. Not sure which one to post to. I just posted to the other one Bensons Mate. As it all really started from there didn't it, with that WOW performance.

Yes sorry Karrots, didn't realise, and didn't setout intentionally to hijack your thread. You made very, valid points, all worthy of consideration, and gave some food for thought. Your eagle eye spotted and noted those market moves!

I have a bad feeling this will blow up unfortunately. Deserving of its own thread.

A Fitzgerald if you are out there & come across this, please do come on here & advise us.

The official reports to come out soon will be worth reading. Hopefully they will clear up a lot of the speculation that was on track at Addington Friday night.

Until that time, I won't make any judgement on his trustworthiness one way or the other.

I'd just like to know what was meant by his "sssshhhhh" (index finger up to the lips) gesture from Happy's post.

It's an unusual gesture to make, especially on a racecourse, but it does have a universal meaning, with "successful" sporting athletes in the professional world. But like I said, he's only a amateur, so I can only assume.

  4. Possibly the stupid gesture of going "sssshhhhh", was in response to some social media comments, and he disliked people saying things.

    That was last Sunday.

I strongly suspect he dislikes the lastest comments even more, arising from Friday afternoon's event.

Could It not be something as simple as horse was injured slightly whilst being transported to the track.

Remembering was in an early race and it's quite feasible no vet was on course at time.

These things do happen and does not have to be a witch hunt on Trainers from a certain part of Canterbury that some seem to be obsessed with!

For some reason, and look I don't know why this is, but for some reason, I have the legendary Australian cricket commentator Bill Lawry's voice in my head, screaming:

    "GOT 'EM!!!"

What are peeps thoughts on his performance?

    Good analysis Karrots.

And good on you for asking the question.

Unfortunately in Jacindastan, often people are unable to share their true thoughts and opinions without  receiving repercussions for doing so.

I don't wish to publicly share my thoughts on the matter, sorry Karrots, but by saying nothing, it actually says more, than saying something, in this case.

Well Im surprised no-one has commented on any of these 3 articles. Think the situation is quite serious & its current affairs and of public interest.

@Happy Sunrise @Rusty what are you thoughts on the 3 articles?

    Auckland is screwed.

Just not sure of the timeframe of the demise.

    Yes. Exactly what Happy said.

    They're farked.

I can't remember if it was Auckland, or Cambridge... think it was Auckland... where they had this young hip dude with a funny haircut, running the show. The writing was on the wall then from that point on lol
