Hahaha, so yes can confirm it was ATC letter out to their members, BUT not them that got the ball rolling as below link, after Iv done a bit of research it actually has been made public. So no secret after all! Worded by ATC something along the lines of that at last years Oct AGM unaniamously voted by all clubs voted for a new structure for board. Therefore this means an entire new board, which starts Sept or Oct 2024. Here is a link I found on it, its worded different but ATC have made wording much simplier to understand. Oh yes also nearly forgot Im hearing Cambridge have taken onboard all feedback from last year & implementing into this years The Race. Eg More Bars more staff & a bigger better public area & more options up from general public at more affordable prices Remember when Karrots was having a moan on behalf of mates that attended. A massive line 1 hour long for drink. Good on them for being proactive & smart & listening to the people. Guess it makes some people want to give them another chance.

Thx for that update Happy & Rusty. Forgot to share with you as know some off you are enthusiatic on all things Harness. Off topic, received a forward email to me but was traveling hence forgot to share here. It stated clearly that the clubs annoymously voted the current NZ Harness board out. That the change takes place this Sept or Oct. Cant remember exact wording if they have to reapply or if new people will be put forward. Coming to think more about it, think it was a new system was being put in place. This info isnt hear say. It was an official email from a club forward to me. The HRNZ board are getting the lamb chop. Go the clubs. Hopefully for NZ Harness racing its not too little too late.

Heard Entain have been approaching people who they have had a good relationship with in past & have in past got results & not nessary those who are in current favour. In order to get a variety of opinions & information. With the end goal improving things. Im talking about Harness not Gallops but maybe same for Gallops. Sounds like they have some out of the box thinkers. Bypassing racing club boards etc on future decision making & in general calling the shots.

Hearing they have lost the following staff, either fired them or they walked in past 6 ish months Marketing manager Finance manager TAB manager Sports Bar manager Got to wonder why. Ex TAB manager is person they owe disbuted unpaid $ & lost tribunal case to & ATC have appealed decision. This is now in public domain. Hear they are short staffed too on race days.

How much did you collect? Who is his next new sudden star that you are going to get onboard? Heard they tried to pull some sort of a Phar Lap. Where they scratched the horse from FFA, but due to pure exhaustion & just before scratching someone from his crew bet heavily on Akuta to win FFA as no scratching reductions. But wait for it, heard the bet wasnt a winning one hahaha.

Heard about this Gallops trainer. Prob the only Gallops story Iv heard. That he treated his staff poorly. A specific example of this was a stablehand cut their finger. Nearly off while at work & he refused to take the person to hospital & suggested they could keep working. The person called their partner, who came as soon as possible & took the person to hospital. The partner said aint no way you are going back to work for that fella any longer, enough is enough! That person quit & moved on.

Lightning recall u saying u wrote into Tasmania stewards, racing & so on to no avail. Better late than never. If you take a look up this thread a new rule indicated no trainer to have more than 1/2 field pending conditions such as if race wouldnt get off ground. A race tomorrow all scratched bar 1. Thats Globes mates horse. Hear some trainers like Lous for their high speed, but others say they have speed but lack stamina. I get what they mean. Still pretty good results & value for $. In States he is much more plus mile racing which suits Lous. Heard there is a person or 2 off to court soon, oh dear. Hopefully mainstream media dont report on it. Hear on good authority, ATC lost an employee unpaid wage disbute at small tribunal sometime last year. Not sure amount but possibly between $50k - $100k. But ATC have put in an appeal. Appeal to be held sometime this year Im told.

So hear Pukekohe has been sold. Deposit has been paid. Guess that means its unconditional. Hence the new million $ race meeting in Nov, ATC are having they will have $ to pay for it themselves. But doesnt matter as Grimson took NZ Cup 1st place trainers winning $. He must be a millionare by now with all his G1 wins trainers fee, with old average horses. Not forgetting he was pinged for betting against his own runner when he 1st started training. What did he change? Gear changes & vitamins? That has given these horses sudden massive stamina? On a different note at Meadowlands Stripes are allowed to test horses anytime at all. A week out a month out. Whenever, its great. Where are these G1 winners of Grimson now after the quick sudden raise as aged horses? Some quick research. 1. Swayzee in paddock may never race again. 2. Majestic Cruiser retired will never race again. Lost form soon after NZ Cup. 3. Boncel Benjinman has a different trainer, never performed the same after Intedom win. Runs down track. 4. Betterzzipit has never repeated same G1 win. Running down track. A pattern is emerging. Who will be Grimsons next aged donkey to win a G1? & soon after run down track, then soon after retire or be shipped off to a new trainer.

Sorry to hear Grimson won NZ Cup. Felt strongly about not wanting that Fella to win. Apologises to those if Iv been vocal whom dont see it as I do. While Im back in NZ briefly, here is some positive news Iv heard. ATC have announced an initiative that they will fund themselves. 1 million dollars up for grabs, spread amoungst 10 races & its ratings based. Great idea & incentive. Some not so great news a lovely fella from North I know got beaten up while on track. Saddened to hear sickening perputrators attacked him from behind. Handed his licence in. Alleged guilty party went for diverson in court. NZ HOF hear is coming along with leaps & bounds. Guess an update will be inevidable. Hear Republician Party is a great chance to win NZ Cup Next Year. Hear CEO & Racing/Marketing Manager are leaving HRNZ. Poster Mike breed & owned, a nice horse figured out who she is. She will win 1 soon. Very unlucky in her 1st start, started favourite too! Go Mikes horse. Yes Poster Mike, Chief was Noodlum. He admitted to me in a PM email. Hear Super Stable Competiton, is super cool,but needs amendements, as goes too long, & heaps of horses at end go for spell. Posted about this must of been 6 months to a year ago. Thought at time it would of made news then. But nothing. So removed post. Word is spreading quickly again hearing same thing. Anyone else heard anything? On another note the road to the NZ Cup has started which is positive industry news? Who will win?

Oh yes get on Swayzee. Not the best horse obviously. Yea had a mate that backed Cruiser in NZ Cup & tells me would of won had South Coast Arden not stopped in his lap, held him up. Again not because Cruiser was the best horse. Its most interesting how zero of these horses came up thru the age groups. Just suddenly as aged horses go to him & wala. Then after the miracle wins, are just as quickly off the scene.

Yes these miraculous transformations are occuring in 3 weeks. Thats the golden time. No more time is needed. No less will do the trick. When he had his stable in retention it was short of 3 weeks. It was just 2 weeks. Re stats dont lie, he started training season 2015/2016. From then threw to season 2020 he had average results. What didnt change was the type of horse he had, still had the same old used tired nags. No big new owners or young gun well breed horse. BUT a sudden massive change in results & winning Group races with old nags. Winning approx $1.5 mil each season since. Hes now won $5 mil with majority of the winnings from 2021 til now. Taking a look at his stake money winning from 2015 - 2020 & its low. What has he started doing from 2021 to get this amazing results? That take 3 weeks to sharply improve a horse? Now he not only doesnt bet against his own runners as he did 2017, but he is suddenly sooo confident. Too confident in his charges in interviews. Doesnt need to stable drive, doesnt need to worry about if they will get a tough run. Why? Doesnt need big owners or well breed horses either. Yet still now oozes with unusual rare to be seen confidence. Why? Whats his magic trick?

Not sure anyone got that. Russo is allegedly Butts daughters BF. Grimson got an owner of his to purchase Swayzee & take him from Butt. Read stewards report & also statements made at hearing. It all started by Russo & others making verbal comments. (Backed up by fact many others unrelated had made comments on track directly after win). An associate of Grimsons was 1st to make physical contact, he slapped Russo across face. Russo retaliated striking at group of 3. Trainor striked him back. Security came in quick within 2 mins to restrain Russo. Grimson then came & king hit Russo while he was being held back. Hence his 12 month disqualfication. All 4 involved have been disqualfied or put out for 3, 6 months or 12 months. (It was all caught on CCTV footage at Creek bar). Am awaiting Spitty - Spitfire to come out of retirement. Grimson to take him & he will seriously potentially be a Group 1 winner too!!! Grimson is amazing. Under his trainership anything is possible. He can turn slow aged horses into Group 1 winners! Results speak for themselves. Stats dont lie. Truely amazing stuff!
