  1. Race 7 #10 Buddy Perfect. Trials performer who began awkwardly then crowded by Haere Up after Quintana shifted inwards. Settled at rear, looked to be running about a little in the straight when making run. Senior rider L Satherley up today (has ridden in trials 3rd & 4th) and blinkers on may help keep straight. One for value today in this field.

  3. #3 Mongolian Heaven is a full brother to Masque who placed 3rd Wellesley Stakes and 4th in a Group 3. May need the race but one to watch, nominated for the NZ 2000 Guineas
  4. yes Dulcie his 3rd dam. Unfortunately his dam only produced 3 winners from 9 runners, he the only stakes winner. The granddam Mia Bella also disappointing with 4 winners from 7 runners.
  5. just ignore him Hesi, he is channeling the village idiot. The guy is clueless. Onwards and upwards mate
  6. Race 6: Lala Land looks the one, I have rated at $2.20
  7. Race 4: Favourite Enjoy The Show I have rated at $2.90. Good value bets are Johnnie Redmond rated $11.25, Te Akau Dragon rated $8.90 and Palamedes rated $9.35.
  8. Race 2: value bets if Lily The Pink fails (rated $1.80) are Hermanito rated $14 and for very long odds Hoyt Axton

Despite a heavy crash at the first fence which saw Des De Jeu hit the ground and Kuru being knocked off the saddle, Kuru was able to remount the horse and somehow managed to get back in contention. The final stages saw Des De Jeu, which had been second favorite at the start of the race, storm through to a victory, with Kuru’s feat soon going viral. In an interview following the race, Kuru said: “I can’t really explain it, it just sort of happened.” He added: “after the first, he jumped pretty well.”

No need to go that far back as Shadea, his 3rd dam produced Lonhro and Niello.

Third dam is the elite mare Shadea and a nice cross of Sadler's Wells x Nureyev. Interesting pedigree

pulled him out, balanced him and goodbye folks
  13. My friends Sharon & Alan have a small share in a first starter at Te Aroha today. Trained by Peter Lock, their ex-neighbour and a good run for 3rd at the trials. Anyhow, was reminded that is was running last night but had to go out this morning and missed it. Paid $14. Race 4 Imakeepa, might be a handy horse to win first up. Bloody typical 😂
  14. chicken feed, the cost of a blow up doll from what I am told.
  15. I think McNab might have been pleased. Nice run 1:22.12
  16. She doesn't know how to give in and was checked early in her last race in Aus. Looking for more ground now, 1400m should suit her next start.
  17. Good run, fought to the line. Beaten .75 lengths in 1:10.3.
  18. Having seen the way things written were distorted and used for propaganda, I certainly won't be back. Nice place we have here, let's keep it that way.
