Hesi
Bit of a change 1. Absolute legendary voice, but never had a Billboard No 1, best they could do was No 2, ironically beaten out by a song they wrote 2. American legend, but never had a Billboard No 1, but wrote a song that was No 1 3. Five consecutive No 2's on the Billboard Hot 100, all iconic songs, but never got to No 1 4. 6 different hits with 6 different bands. Person, bands and songs 5. Amazingly this group only had 1 UK No 1 and 1 Us No 1 6. What group is this, same group in both pics 7. Who is the female singer on stage and as a young girl

Second pic, Jeff Beck far left and Jimmy Page second right, who went on to transform the Yardbirds into the New Yardbirds, who then became Led Zeppelin. 1 and 5 still to answer 1 . Probably the most recognisable voice around, other than Elvis Presley 5. This group is huge, and very commercial, so was surprised to see the lack of No 1 singles

Ledzepplin or Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin had no No 1 hits in UK or USA, I can't see that they released Stairway to Heaven as a single Pink Floyd actually qualify having reached No 1 in both countries with Another Brick In The Wall BUT they were not the one I had, this band has a NZ connection

Had a US No 1 with Invisible Touch and around that time really hit in big in the US with a series of songs going top 5 Never did much in the UK though, which is surprising, considering they are of UK origin
