I've been to The Bool for one day of this carnival - 5 years ago..a decent road trip from a Melbourne hotel I can tell you, esp if you're driving back straight after! Froze my Mustelid nuts awf, but great atmosphere, the entire Warrnambool district gets behind it. Today's meeting is all jumps races, but empty grandstands this year ...the Kiwis will go well, as usual.
