The 8 slot holders are Dancing Show , Karrots, Field Commander, Double R, Blackie, Happy Sunrise ,Lightning Blue, and Globe Derby I have drawn drivers for each Slot holder for todays racing at Auckland and Addington..... (anyone wanting to be a 9th player there's not many drivers left for you) I'll put the RACE number and HORSE number of your runners , just after I tell you your drivers drawn...................... Slot 1) DANCING SHOW has drawn every lady driver at Auckland, and Natalie Rasmussen at Addington. (supports the ladies) Slot 2) KARROTS has drawn Zac Butcher at Auckland , and John Dunn at Addington. (a big Zachary fan) Slot 3) FIELD COMMANDER has drawn Tony Herlihy at Auckland, and Tim Williams at Addington. Slot 4) DOUBLE R Robert has drawn Jonny Cox at Auckland, and Blair Orange at Addington. Slot 5) BLACKIE has drawn Mark Purdon at Auckland , and Ricky May at Addington. Slot 6) HAPPY SUNRISE has drawn Todd Mitchell at Auckland , and Juniors Sarah O'Reilly, Ben Hope, and Korbyn Newman at Addington. (he loves em ) Slot 7) LIGHTNING BLUE has drawn M.McKendry at Auckland , and Sam Ottley at Addington. Slot 8 ) GLOBE DERBY has drawn both Ben and David Butcher at Auckland , and Matthew Williamson at Addington (a trotting driver fan) IT WILL BE 3 Points for each 1st Placing, 2 pts for 2nd , and 1 pt for 3rd. good luck ! hope it's some fun !! might be a trifecta or 2 ?? May as well pop someone down for Slot 9, they can have Ferguson's Alex total 4 drives but have favs or 2nd fav in all their 4 races. For Addington they can have the Wigg sisters. Fav for race 1 - could quinella that race. R8 Alex could be an interesting watch, its Butcher boys + Mitchell (Telfers/Donelly runners) up against Purdon. Watch them try to drive against the Southern horse. They do it all the time lol. Mind you Butchers don't just do it (meaning making them work harder) against Southern horses, do it sometimes to favourites too. Remember seeing them do it to Lady La Salle & Nicolas Cage & another too. (remember Amazing Dream in Jewels & Aladdin at Alex having to go 3 wide for ages). Might be a bit hard tho tonight with just 5 runners total in field. Who will win the 1st 2y-o race of season? TAB have nice Vincent colt Seve - fav, with nice stablemate filly Notorious RGB 2nd fav. Mind you that Merlin ran straight past him at workouts in last 400 26.3. Seve was the only 1 that could go with him, still got beat by a length. Article on HRNZ states Purdon said the only race he was eligible for was same race as Self Assured. So the FFA basically. And didn't want to start him in it - fair enuff. Checked Akutas rating & its R71. So basically based off that once a horse gets to R70 if it noms at Alex it will be in the FFA. How many wins would that be in a row, 3-4? Gee whiz. In 2017 , VINCENT bolted in for 7 wins out of 8 starts in Australia taking 2 Group 1 's. The race he missed makes you cry. The Group 1 Victoria Derby , completely at his mercy after great heat win, but drew the second row. A wayward horse (with idiot driver who got suspended) piled into his wheel after catching the field and ripped the tyre clean off the rim. Blackie won't be happy with that. a measley 1 point. Zachary coming up a nose short for Karrots. But she powers to the lead with a 2nd placing . Karrots shows the way 5 pts, Josias trails 3pts, joined By FieldCommander 3 pts on the outside with AGH iceman steering well, Happy Sunrise 1-1 after a Ben Hope special , Blackie caught 3 -wide with Marky Boy not at his best and only 1 pt ..... and Double R, Lightning Blue and Globe Derby all 'off the bit currently, Dancing Show from her massive handicap is yet to start her race. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
