mardigras Posted July 4, 2019 Share Posted July 4, 2019 I'd expect the horse to be weighted at 50kg in Melbourne Cup. Rated 90 in NZ. Horses rated around 98 in Oz will typically struggle to get more than that. And he won't get a 98 in Oz from current performances. Would have to get it's rating up significantly before weights released imo. Otherwise even a metrop win wouldn't make field. For their dream to be alive, I hope I'm wrong.
