Triple deadheat

Ok here's a question that I don't know the answer to.

When was the last triple deadheat in NZ?

Yep, pretty rare event. I've never heard of one here. The Hotham (the final Melbourne Cup guaranteed entry race on Derby day), at Flemington had one many moons ago (for first). There might have been one for a minor placing in the Newmarket one year as well. Something like 8 horses crossed the line nearly in unison.

The first triple dead-heat on record in NZ thoroughbred racing was at Wanganui, February 1967. Alcharinga, Ellinis & Pearly Shells for third-place.

I thought I was seeing something, and then I realised I was looking at NZ TAB. 15 minutes after the race. How can simple stuff like this be so crap on this site?

And not that it matters as it doesn't change anything. But from an information perspective, it's pretty poor given the money spent.

That happened maybe 18 months ago on  a US race I had a $20 bet on. Result showed all horses 1st. Mine ran 5th but I got paid for the win bet. Tried to ring and point out the error but couldn't get a real person so gave up. Some of the sports bet errors are probably worse though I don't follow those closely but some have been pointed out to me and the new platform does not seem to have helped. Certainly contributes significantly to the GBR issues I'm thinking.
