Hesi
No I'm not going anywhere There is a horse racing at Counties on Wed called that Can anyone recall a horse of the same name that used to race in the 70's. A very good handicapper, used to race against the likes of Dashing Lu and Riverview
ngakonui grass
I think Bill Winder trained it. May be wrong but i think it was by Alcimedes.

pete
Skint Dip. Now there's a horse I loved. Went to Aussie unbeaten and I think he ran down the track in a Caulfield Cup. Aussie commentator was calling him Skeent Deep.

ngakonui grass
13 minutes ago, Ashoka said: ngakonui grass, I think that the horse that you may be thinking of is "Not Again". I believe that the prominent owner of this horse previously raced a top-class galloper called "Terrific", who had a nightmare campaign in Australia and so, in the hope of avoiding a repeat, named his next horse as such. "Not Again" was a top-class racehorse in his own right. Please believe me, there is no need to apologise. We all make the odd mistake when recalling the long ago, and your reference to great horses of the past delights me and allows me to indulge myself in a brief reverie. Cheers. Just been reading Noel Riordans obiturary in the Te Awamutu Courier . Strike Again was the horse and W.C Winder trained it.Owner wanted a picture of his horse going past the post first and they got it. Not Again and Terrific both owned by Dr McGregor Grant and trained by Merv Ritchie. Terrific failed in Aus and when Not Again went over headlineread" Oh no not again" given that they werewell hyped.
