Hesi
Just like to acknowledge the passing of Brian Affleck, who posted on these forums for many years, along with his wife and many family members. He also ran PIXForum(??), who many on these sites will be familiar with. Always a sad affair when someone you have not known but had something to do with passes on. He was well known, so I don't think I am compromising any privacy concerns 21 November 1939 - 13 May 2022, age 82 years AFFLECK, Brian John: Died peacefully on Friday, 13 May 2022, aged 82. Dancing Show
Very sad, I had a lot to do with Brian over the years on pretty much all the racing forums, some still going and some no longer running. Thanks for letting us know.
Turny
Thanks Alan, Brian was a fellow Vietnam Veteran who was very active in the Viet Vets community assisting others. His acute input is much missed. Sadly missed. Brian was a very organized guy who didn't suffer fools too well. Eccentric in some ways, but a very caring guy RIP Brian Edited October 14, 2022 by Turny

Rayzor
First joined one of Brian's comps on race cafe many years ago. There were spells on BOAY and another site before he settled on pix.freeforums. Brian put lots of time & effort into setting up and scoring his comps. He was always willing to try new concepts that could help us evolve as punters. Much appreciated Brian. RIP champ. 👍
