Agree with you, when I first started following in 2018. I noted that South was stronger in general, meaning that when they came up in same grade they were slightly better. HOWEVER feel that has changed & you just have to look at Telfers stable as an example. I don't really include Manawatu in that assessment, as Manawatu horses are Manawatu horses. Respectfully the weakest of the 3 Northern tracks. And it is good to have Mana. Those horses that come up from South. Don't see many of them winning at Cambridge do ya in same grade. And they didn't seem to win a lot at Alex either when they came up. The NZ CUP is open and any islands to take this year IMO. AND the Jewels at Cambridge 2021 was 4 to North Island & 5 to South. Similar.

Results. A quinella to N Purdon with the Amazing mare Amazing Dream can lead as she LEAD ALL the way, to win from her fast finishing stable mate Spellbound to take another G1 Glory. Well Lightning,in another G1 the Len Mile, Line Up finished down the track. BUT noted Spirit of St Louis, still has the odd Kiwi owner T Casey. So will include his result. Nearly a G1 for him BUT the line came approx 5 metres too soon as he flashed down the outside from the 3 back outer position to pass his favoured stablemate Expensive Ego who had the 1-1 to finish 4th. With a $81 shot taking the G1 glory The Black Prince ahead of ex Kiwi Alta Orlando another with Kiwi owners as Lightning pointed out in R Dunn finishing ONLY a head away in 2nd. A head & a head ONLY divided the 2nd from 3rd place and again a head from 3rd to 4th place! In other news in G1 2y-o boys NSW breeders final Sweet Lou smarty Smaltese was left parked after going hard out the gate but also going hard was My Ultimate Ronnie who crossed him. As soon as he got the lead, his stablemate & fav pressed on to lead & he handed to stablemate My Ultimate Byron who had started from complete outside front row. BUT with the early burn it cost them ALL. And a swooper Tims a Trooper at $41 came over the top. Good one Trooper 👍 Teach that stable driving ha.

To get back to subject, there are further articles on HRNZ today explaining more about the changes. 1 other thing Im thinking. I hope they keep the Jewels 2y-os the same as previous years e.g. earn your spot via stake money. Also noted that HRNZ has been given the green light by TAB to host 1 Saturday nite but only for next year. Better than nothing suppose. Looks like it will be held at Alex.

Yeah they gave him a bit of a hard time on the other forum. Does nothing for a young persons confidence getting savaged as such. But pleased as you say he took got his win + another. Just needed to get behind some decent stock & also get a good coach & some confidence will start to flow 😃

She’s 49 nearly 50 & still looks fantastic. Recently watched a Netflix show called (El Dragon) - in Spanish with subtitles & noticed a great actress - Renata Notni. Yea @Gordy that was what it said on the Doco. Have not googled to see if it was downsized or not. But Gordon passed not long after any it appears. Of note today, since saw you guys were talking about Invercgl on here. Just checked results and watched R1 & R2 as 2 Lous won. Both maiden races. What I did note was the distance 1700m. In saying that too, looks like they both would of won 2200m. Great drive by M Williamson, from 2nd row inside draw to in LEAD in a flash without using too much mahi.

Ok no more real life docos on Neon for a while for Karrots. Gee so SAD. Just watched this doco it has ONLY 1 episode. Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina - Didn’t we Yet another Bizarre story how BOTH, mother & daughter died the same way 3 years apart. Face down in a bath. Again this doco leaves questions as to was the ex fiancé of the daughter (Nick Gordon) responsible for 1 or both deaths. He also died 3 years later at age 30 after Bobbi Kristina. So tragically ALL 3 passed. The weird part of it was that he had been taken in at age 12 & was raised as a son to Whitney, & like a brother to daughter Bobbi Kristina. (But was unofficially adopted son). Then soon after Whitney passed he was in a relationship with the daughter so like his sister BUT not. Also weirdly the same cause of death as Brittany M - Pneumonia BUT the manner of death was ruled as UNKNOWN. Of note Bobbi Kristina had missing teeth, bruising, swollen lips from physical abuse at time of death. There were rumours he was controlling. Interestingly in both deaths he was there Nick Gordon. The best friend of Bobbi Christina thinks foul play as Whitney never took baths at hotels. But his brother who was also interviewed said No that he loved them both. However he N Gordon was found legally responsible for Bobbi Kristinas death & fined USD36 million after father Bobby Brown filed a lawsuit against him. He tried to commit suidcide after he was blamed for it. And successed a few years later when he passed of a drug OD. Again similar to the B Murphy case in that her husband passed after her death. Very sad watching the interviewees from ALL families. Maybe actually avoid these 2 docos lol. Need to find a comedy NEXT.

Roger that. The only 1 bit of feedback I would give other than LOVE it. Is the Country CUP final IMO should not be open to horse R100 or R90 or maybe even R80 for that matter. I see the conditions are to start 30m or 40m for R100 BUT over 3200m. Have it set at a rating. Think they do that at Menangle. Lightning might know. But think the Country Cup Final Group 3 recently at Menangle was up to NR80. Should be something similar here. Otherwise they might just get horses that are open class enter. Defeats the WHOLE purpose of the series. Note it is still just draft so some amendments can still be made.
