Think what Double R is referring to is the grass & nutritional value of it, the difference in time of year, which makes a good point 👍 The only thing Iv ever heard was a convo between horse people talking about how there was or used to be negative thought towards late foals because of the age thing & season started 1 Aug. One saying the positive about those last late foals is the weather is so much nicer & less chance of them succumbing to sickness or death from harsh winters that earlier foals maybe born into. I thought that was a good point too. No idea re grass value, BUT def a good point as their is less of it around summer.

Yes noticed that. Didn't know which horse was which that was doing the run up the back of, but def saw the swat off, that soon resulted in a check to a horse that I noticed lost ground as broke up due to that. And ran home nicely making up ground for 5th Street Hawk (haven't read stripes report been watching NEON).

Just finished El Dragon & it doesn’t have a happy ending. Like its not predictable. On next show but on Neon as What Happened to Brittany Murphy? has been released. Really want to watch this as was living in LA at the time of her death late 2009. And a few years after her death 2013 ish still living in LA, my ex came home & said that while he was out he popped into Star Bucks with a mate, who happened to know her Dad & he happened to be at Star Bucks too in LA. Anyway that his Dad is pissed & angry about the death & says she was murdered & wants to do something about it. I was like “ok thats interesting”. Have never really thought more about it. Til now years later this doco is out. Watched the 1st episode. Where its presented that the husband is weird, controlling, compulsive liar & possibly responsible. Also that the father walked out on the mother & Brittany when she was very young. Into approx 10 mins of 2nd episode (which is enough of 1 nite) & they show the father & YES he’s saying that he believes she was murdered & seems very adamant about it - so what ex told me those years ago was true! Interesting. The strange thing about it all tho for me, is that the husband passed away approx 5 months after she died & they died from the same thing. Will write an opinion on thoughts after have watched the entire series.

Exactly. 1. So we have the Methvan Cup where the horse Vintage C on the 10metre mark, didn’t actually start from 10 metres behind. 2. Then we have last start Self Assured walking start getting an advantage. 3. And now we have this race a walking start I noticed 2 in particular. (Didn't have my eyes on the outside runners). * What it actually does is put me off watching the NZ CUP. Happy to watch the other races but losing interest in the NZ CUP now due to the start. It needs to be fair. Either ALL horses stand or ALL horse walk up PERIOD.

Results a bit late, Musfasa Metro placed so thru to final. One Over All "also ran" unfortunately Thinking def need a plan B and maybe even a plan C when taking horse overseas. Have been checking to see if Sugar Me if has been exported out of Aus to USA or back to NZ, but not yet. So will keep an eye out to see when/if he starts again in Oz.

(Interesting) Also states Williamson saying horse in 1-1 will be a threat should it be 1 of the big bangers. That is a good point. Ill have eyes on the horse in the 1-1 too & trail & lead of course. This Ashburton straight def looks longer than Cambridge BUT hopefully he can hold them. If his balls aren’t busted during the running can’t see how he won’t. BUT it is racing & you just never know. Nevertheless GOOD LUCK 😃 Ill check back in here a bit later in day.

Agree, they did announce some things they were working on re majority R40-R60 with the working groups. Cant recall the name of the incentive scheme. It was when they revealed incentives to breeders a bonus and also Country Cups, along with other things. Maybe they might reveal these next week when they reveal the major races dates etc.

Agree after looking at this I was thinking something like from $25k maiden - $35k FFA to say as take away from maiden e.g. $5k so becomes $20k and add to FFA Group 3 so $40k. 20k for a maiden and $40k for Group 3.

Was looking at Bugalugs Top 4 R6 (Cambridge) only has to beat 2 home at $2.70. Should just slot into the trail. But can he hold 4th ... Wont be betting will just watch this arvo 😃👀
