pete
Rocky = Brent Cooper. I met him at a Racecafe race day at Ellerslie. Maria was there too and also that old curmudgeon Don Skelton. Also there was Irish - i think her first name was Jan. She was a hard case.

I am privileged to be able to converse ( by email ) with her, and she has an absolutely delightful turn of phrase!
Mardy
Good to hear that Irish is still around. I remember talking with her a bit thru Racecafe and then i finally met her at the Kaikoura trots going back a few years ago now,she was involved in some sense with Kenny Moore when he trained pacers/trotters. Was definitely a blast meeting her,she is larger than life.
LookingForValue
I drove Irish around 2 or 3 times when she visited from Australia before she came to stay. Visited Tony Williams at home and met a few others at the Clevedon Pub in Auckland. She could drink and delighted eveyone she talked to.
