Naval Envoy ridden by Craig Newitt, a 5yo Smug gelding looked like it was going to take it out until the final few and the fast finishing Standoff made up the Trifecta. The fave Housay could only manage fourth after getting well back and running on fairly. No-one has Craig Newitt in their Jockey selections today so no points earned. Well, what a difference a race makes, and moz has managed to leap frog LFV and put a gap between himself and the rest of the pack after 3. Well, the field that got a sniff of a trifecta in the previous races and have now decided it's time to join in and trifectas have started to flow as plentiful as the champers on Melbourne Cup Day with 8 selecting the Trifecta and 2 on the Quinella, with a large number of win pay outs. No Double Ups were played.
