  1. One for the ages that was. A couple of poor defensive lapses in the first half let the Irish back into it, but boy that D in the second half towards the last 10 mins was superb. Argentina won't live with that if they reproduce that form. I was at the RSA with about 50 others and the room was silent in those last 5 minutes. Edge of the seat stuff, and it erupted when we won the last breakdown, a deafening roar and clapping. Who would have thought. Kinda glad Fozzie has something to remember his tenure by and not an early exit.
  2. Please uphold the protest, please ,pretty please.🤞
  3. Im getting a very sore bum stuck in this Zero, I gotta tell yah. 🛩️

  5. Watched the replay. I would have been screaming for Coney Island Lou, gritty little horse and way over the odds, and that was as good as it gets for a sheer speed burn for the first quarter, dear me. Jolimont is part owned by Tommy Heptinstall, the owner of the syndicate that my son in law trained TB,s for, and had Tavistock, and other group 1 winners. When Tommy told Andrew (my son in law) he was interested in buying a pacer ,I immediately suggested a Sweet Lou and Andy knew Arna Donnelly who trained just down the road when he was at his Cambridge establishment . At least someone listened to my advice. The Sweet Lou's have speed to burn , and is one of the boom sires.
  6. Cant watch anything, apart from replays on HRNZ, TAB has been off the air for the past few hours.
  7. I have followed him through the grades actually, and he is up to the big time but needs a sit as he has a lethal finish. Too much work seems to blunt the finish. Nice horse though.
  8. Nice run again Self Assured, quickest time off the 20mtrs and still coming at the end on a slashing last quarter. Can't wait until the Cup.
  9. What a night for this to happen, pathetic. We have two Trotters engaged tonight.
  10. Tough field LB, luck in the running will be needed. I like all the Sweet Lou,s but they have drawn 7-8-9. Would favour Coney Island Lou, looks a tough horse in the making and shows lots of grit. And Captain Tom for value.
  11. Now you know why the Arabs as torture used to tie the captive into a sack full of cats , bind it up and then beat the shit outa the sack with sticks. yeeeesh.
  12. Love this song, gonna get my daughter and her musician friend to include it in their repertoire.
  13. Hard game this. I've had 5 winners and a second from the last 9 races and still can't get past the first. 🥴
  14. No one on the last .I will let PJ work out the totals if any.
  15. Going wide in the first to give myself an early lead (or exit) 9 3 7 7 11
  16. I like Honolua Bay from the front, and have a soft spot for Spirit of St Louis, but will need the right run from there.
  17. Don't feel so bad now being 1-9 for and against.🥴
  18. No hated it. Put me 600 bucks behind my opponent. pphhhttttt
  19. Yeah, and I would be last as usual. The Trotting season is ramping up and beckoning , its whispering in my ear. " Rees, Rees(softly) , come hither and give that mug TB game away my son " lol
