  1. Seems your horse needs to be on pace today to have a chance. I don’t think I will earn enough to pass Steve P though, and really, I would prefer to be lucky on Saturday, not today.
  2. R1 - 11 R2 - 4 R3 - 8 R4 - 5 R5 - 3 Thanks P.J.
  3. Well done Steve, first up after a spell.
  4. Max, we are up against the Kats second week in, so that’s good. Roland, Moose and Smiler have been high altitude training so will hit the ground running, while Pete is having a bit of R&R and will be nice and relaxed when he sorts his picks. Me, got all my bad luck out of the way during the Lucky 7.
  5. Blues have to be rank outsiders for the NPC. Yours truly the only team member in the comp today, and I end up with the timid terry award, and I am the captain.
  6. R1 - 3/9/14 R2 - 2/5/8 R3 - 1/2/5 R4 - 4/5/8 R5 - 3/4/10 R6 - 2/8/11 R7 - 1/9/14 bb Thanks P.J.
  7. R1 - 2 R2 - 7 R3 - 8 R4 - 6 R5 - 1 Thanks P.J.
  8. The opening theme gets you in the mood for the episode, while the closing theme lets you reflect on what you just watched.
  9. Well done Vonnie, you timed your run perfectly. With my knee replacement back in February the only riding I have been doing since then has been 30 minutes a day on the bike trainer in the garage. With my other knee being replaced in September I reckon I won’t be riding the roads till sometime next year. Thanks P.J. for inviting us to join this comp and I guess next up will be the EPL comp which requires a lot of stamina.
  10. I was 3rd very early in the tour but my team selection just wasn’t good enough and I have drifted well out of it. Never mind, I will be back next year and hopefully a bit more savvy with my team selection.
  11. R1 - 1/4/6 R2 - 4/5/6 R3 - 1/3/6 R4 - 7/8/13 R5 - 4/5/8 R6 - 2/4/5 bb R7 - 1/5/7 Thanks P.J.
  12. ‘The nation in mourning’, give me a break.
  13. R1 - 3 R2 - 9 R3 - 1 R4 - 6 R5 - 2 Thanks P.J.
  14. I have been having regular blood tests for a number of years now, and just as well, as around 3 years ago my PSA level shot up all of a sudden. I got the finger up the bum from my doctor who didn’t feel anything abnormal, but since I have medical insurance he sent me off to a urologist. To cut a long story short 3 months later I had my prostate out. For the following 2 years I was getting my PSA checked every 3 months, and thankfully it’s come back good. Whenever I am due for blood tests I just get a text from my doctor advising me to front up at a Labtests collection centre and give them my name and it’s on their computer with what tests need to be done, and luckily for me the needle doesn’t bother me.
  15. R1 - 1/4/6 R2 - 1/2/4 R3 - 2/6/7 R4 - 3/4/5 R5 - 2/7/10 R6 - 1/3/10 R7 - 9/12/13 bb Thanks P.J.
