We are using outdated systems and tactics. The rest of the world has caught up and we haven’t been able to adapt or innovate. Foster has been in the set up for too long and has likely taken the team to where he can get them.

I think you are a bit harsh on Cane. He's not the best number 7 we have or captain for that matter but he's not a journey man. He likely still makes the squad if he wasn't captain but wouldn't be in the game day 23.

In terms of the Wellington game it was a shitty cold Tuesday night the same week as a series deciding test match. Given that I didn't think the crowd was too bad

I tend to agree Max, the AB's had a lot go wrong last test and were still in the game. They need to sort these cards out. You wouldn't see a much geneuine atempt at an intercept than the aussie bloke who got carded for a deliberate knock down.

In fairness he may have known the bill wouldn’t have got the numbers to pass at the time. Or he may have had more pressing issues across his portfolios. Also for a part of the last term it wasn’t an issue due to gathering restrictions.

Personally I think they are still in the running for the spoon. Wests looking like they will pip them. Could also see the cowboys battling away from Queensland. Warriors are anyones guess but at full strength they have a decent team.

Haha I’d agree if they did make it they would likely be eliminated fairly quickly. Agree about the re think. They actually have not a bad roster this season.

Knights are probably not a bad roughie. I still think the Warriors could scrape into the 8. I would be looking at the Tigers or Bulldogs to take the spoon, maybe the Cowboys although they might win a few in Townsville to keep them off it. We will find out this Friday if the Warriors are any chance of making the 8. A loss to the tigers and I think given the teams they have played and lost to there season is likely over.

Who are you chaps thinking wins it this year? I know it’s early doors but I think it’s out of the Roosters and Panthers. If I was looking for a long shot I’d probably take the Broncos.

Yeah I’d agree re the NRL doing it but I don’t think it has as much impact as it’s normally grounding or onside rather than a minuscule knock on two rucks ago.

Yip I’d agree with those comments. One thing that really annoys me with rugby is the constant looking for every single slight issue to rule out a try.

Bulldogs and cowboys was an awful game. Hard to see either going anywhere near making the 8.
