Can't help but be inspired by the passion the guy has for the game and the illuminated way he shows it.  15 tests next year, so good luck to him.

And just remember, Crusaders, 7 consec Super titles, prior to which they had not won anything since 2008

Yeah, one can't help but feel the passion oozing from the guy. Different kettle of fish altogether , and obviously a very good motivator with a Rugby brain. But it will be tough with so many AB,s leaving the fold. Fifteen tests first year in, is a baptism of fire  by any stretch of the imagination.

To be honest, a blessing in disguise, saves him the trouble of ditching a few who would be past their use by date.

And it looks like a deal is set to be announced with Beauden Barrett signing on with the Blues till 2027 so a pivotal part of Robertson's 2027 WC campaign.  And what's the betting he will be at standoff, his true position.

The signing of Barrett for another 4 years is bad news for up and coming five eighths.

If he is handled the correct way, as Robertson will do, then he becomes the benchmark for budding pivots to aspire to.  At least Will Jordan, the best running back in world rugby, will now get to play in his normal position of fullback, and whoever gets the captaincy won't be subbed off with 15 min to play.  Can't wait to watch this team play with the flair that Robertson will instill in them.

Of course not.

Many expect Ardie Savea, but he may just go with his own man which will more than likely be a surprise.  The new broom sweeps clean.

They were still a decent team and made the playoffs for pretty much all those seasons in between. 
 

Clearly he can coach but he inherited a decent squad and set up.

I would assume that 2 7ths in a row was completely unacceptable to the people of Canterbury, hence the appointment of a new coach, Robertson, who immediately got them back to No 1

Made the playoffs in 2016 and missed making them by a point in 2015.
