PWJ
ROUND 11 - Sat August 28 Selections Close off at 2.45pm Now listen up people ! Last week crisis was narrowly averted when a few posters didn't correctly identify which races their selections were for. It is imperative that this week you label the race for which you are selecting WITH THE CORRECT RACE NUMBER ANNOTATED BY ME BELOW. e.g. Race 13. 5, 7 (if you are posting for Kembla Grange race 6) The order is not important to me when entering selections into my results sheet but identifying which race you are selecting for is vital. This week will be the same as last week - I have scheduled a NZ meeting (Te Rapa) but in the (most) likely event that it will not go ahead then I have also installed Kembla Grange (moved from Sydney due to Covid) as the Alternative Meeting. Please select for all three meetings. Remember one Best Bet per meeting Most of us are relying on PIko to take down the juggernaut that is The Roughnecks this week while MX5 look to get their title challenge back on track against the Hot Toddys who face part 2 of their tough double header against the top two sides. Lowdown and Usain Colt are level on points and separated only by aggregate in what is not quite a must-win match but not far off it while Crazy Horse look to make hay on their Bye round and will be relieved PJ can't suffer defeat again this week..... Ziggy looks to bring his top form from the Bye round and turn it into his first win but faces a slippery customer in Pete (Slippery Pete ??!) while two of the Magnificent Seven - Gee and Richie - look horns in what could be the day's big scoring face-off. Good luck everyone. Any questions please ask. Races are: 11. Kembla Grange R4 - 3.15pm - NSWROA Trophy - $130k, 2000m, BM78 hdcp 12. Just stay away from the add section for the Imperial Airforce and El Capitan will be happy. You have scored over $1900 so your performance might just miss a peer review. For now. Yes, I note that tin-bum Jase has scored less than $13 more than me but won 5 more matches !! 1

The Roughnecks roadshow spiralling out of control will come to an abrupt halt this week ! There's no king in the Piko win ! That's the short-range forecast. You heard it here first. 😃

Zig
Maybe I'm heading for another "record" with 10+losses to go with those 10 winners aways back😁 I see a couple of the 4 (who's counting 😳) behind me in $$$ earned have 4-5 wins!! Just as important, to me PJ, is whether or not you can make up 650 odd points in the last 2 rounds of NRL.... Now that would really suck mate😤.. I have 14 scoring this week...a few better than last round...fingers crossed.

Nahhh you're safe buddy - Marzhew dropped and Doueihi gone for the season leaves me just 16 players with my final trade last week buying Mitchell and Curran. All good until next year. On a brighter note I am in the top 10 in the Sportsdeck Australasian NRL tipping comp and I'm winning the Arrowfield in-house one which has $500 for the winner ! Hesi
New jockey locked in for boom galloper Ayrton Golden Eagle favourite Ayrton will resume on Memsie Stakes day in an open handicap. Picture: Racing Photos via Getty Images By Gilbert Gardiner10:27am • 27 August 2021 0 Comments Gun jockey John Allen will ride boom galloper Ayrton on Saturday at Caulfield, replacing Jamie Kah. News Australia has established Allen “assured” the Mick Price and Michael Kent jr stable he will be able to ride at 55kg. It comes after Racing Victoria Stewards on Thursday night revealed four jockeys, including Kah, have been stood down for at least the next 14 days due to a breach of Covid regulations. Leading stables are scrambling today to find replacements for Kah and Ben Melham most notably, ahead of Saturday’s Group 1 Memsie Stakes meeting. South Australian horseman David Jolly and Will Clarken have been contacted in relation to the vacancies aboard Memsie favourite Behemoth (Kah) and Beau Rossa (Melham). Jolly indicated early Friday morning that no decision had been made regarding Behemoth with the syndicate of owners still discussing options. Picture: Racing Photos Star hoops Jamie Kah and Ben Melham are set to miss the spring carnival after stewards handed them hefty suspensions for breaking COVID-19 rules. Racing.com revealed on Friday the quartet were caught when police attended the property following noise s complaint. Victoria Police confirmed they were also fined more than $5000 each for breaking the state’s lockdown. In a behind-closed-doors hearing, all four jockeys pleaded guilty to breaking AR 232(b) - fail or refuse to comply with an order, direction or requirement of the Stewards or an official.
