  1. I see she went to a multiple MM winner, that foal should be quick!
  2. I think that that poor bugger fell over first attempt, or Choked down, was he 3 or 4 first time around? . Amazing to come back and win it.
  3. Aghh, thanks for the clue LB, all previous winners of the AG Hunter Cup. I think Elsu's may have been the best performance, I seem to remember he was 3 wide for the majority of the race?
  4. Have to be NZ lamb wouldnt it LB? Cricket wicket? All you guys need is a bowling green.🙃
  5. Would of been quite a Derby field that. From the gate? I’d go Lord Module all day.
  6. Don’t get dizzy.
  7. Thanks for that LB, that’s great. I think Ronnie had a race car circuit where you had to try and beat a time on a big scoreboard, paid your money and it was like a formula ford car, probably where Todd got his grounding. May have been at IIndooropili or the like? Ron had a track( for the horses) on his place covered with gum trees, a sand track he use to cover with waste oil to keep the dust down. And a halter and lead at the gate to tie any horse who’s owner didn’t pay the bill 😷.
  8. Ah, Rocklea. Been there, loved it. Stayed with Ronny Wanless, if you could get to that 2nd last straight in front you were home. NZ pacers did well because of their standing start manners. Glass of beer .80c
  9. Geez, those Aussies getting a bit soft, a bit of a storm, would'nt happen here.
  10. Thanks for that LB 👍 When you look at that win of Mount Eden's in the MM, that was herculean, missing away, chasing, first to peel, off and away, phenomenal. Be the Best of the Best? Maybe.
  11. Geez, the weather don’t sound too flash over in Sydney LB. Any updates?
  12. Seriously, he could fly a furlong in 12 secs with a good Canterbury Norwester behind him, brilliant. Perhaps even a little bit more pretty than Paleface?
  13. Just reading that he started in seven consecutive MM, will never be beaten that record I reckon. Fell over at his first ever start as a two year old, no holding true champions down.
  14. Imagine winning 108 races with a horse! Him and Colin Pike legends in the true sense of the word. And a grouse looking animal to go with it.👌
  15. This is how the star-studded field for the 55th edition of the race will start: King Of Swing (Rocknroll Hanover) Spirit Of St Louis (Sweet Lou) Majestic Cruiser (Art Major) Bundoran (Lincoln Royal) Mach Dan (Mach Three) Expensive Ego (Rocknroll Heaven) (1st em) Jay OK (A Rocknroll Dance) (2nd em) Like A Wildfire (Big Jim) Bondi Lockdown (Somebeachsomewhere) Better Eclipse (Betterthancheddar) Be hard to be beat the #1 horse from there, although #2 gets the trip behind him, deadset quinella.
  16. Don’t waste your time G19, I’ve got this.😇
  17. 1. Mount Eden 2. Young Quinn NZ 3. Popular Alm 4. Village Kid 5. Chokin NZ 6. Christian Cullen NZ 7. Smoken Up 8. King of Swing (those last two should have an NZ after them, & Village Kid, Aussies, no surprises there). Thanks LB👍
  18. Yes Happy. Will have to tell that maize to be ready earlier in the year.
  19. So atm: Always B Miki: 48% runners to winners Captaintreacherous: 72% Sweet Lou: 68 % Bettor’s Delight: 82% Bettor’s Delight a bit of a phenomenon scoring such a high rate, even better because he has such a bigger crop to get a more accurate picture. On the figures above you’d go for Captaintreacherous being the one. Blackie liking the Vincent’s although sons of Art Major haven’t a great record.
