Hesi
Thanks for filling in at late notice Pete. I know you mean well Rex, but you are going to have to seriously consider your medical situation before you commit to running future competitions. 2
Sir Gallivant
APOLOGIES to EVERYONE, believe me I am so very sorry for letting you all down. Let me also apologize for NOT GETTING in TOUCH pre the start of the day so you could have scored this easier. If you choose to ban me from the site I totally understand Admin.

Hesi
Don't be ridiculous Rex, banning ???? I like many on this site would be more concerned about your health and about you being realistic about being able to make future commitments, therefore thinking long and hard about that in the first place.
Sir Gallivant
Thanks, I just feel so bad, and your right I will have to think about my future to running harness comps and here I was planning a new one for the grass track summer.😢
pete
Got some adjustments to do to Race 10 as I didn't see the late scratching. Anyone with horse 7 goes onto 4. Actually there's more to it but I'll clean it up after the Cup.

Yep, I thought a standing start was just that. Standing, not a slow canter up to the barrier strand. Way overdue for a clean up. No excuses really though, that horse has come a long way from being pretty average to start with. Kudos to the Aussies, they have tough Grand Circuit horses. craigos1
Cheers Pete for your efforts today , Thank You. Rex don't be too hard on yourself , when unwell ,whether it be yourself or someone else we (I) do understand. Take care mate. A terrific days harness racing , for me , Chase A Dream's Win the highlight , Love N The Port was good for the pocket!! Swayzee stepped well and was too good also. I must say , its been the first time in along time I made a decent profit on Cup Day. Advance Party you little ripper running into 3rd behind a Champ. Cheers all.
pete
I rarely bet on harness and thought I'd blown the lot. Was so busy with the comp I didn't notice I'd got some of the late quaddie. Whilst I didn't win it meant a whole lot less of a loss.

But if he had to stand, would he. He definitely deserved the win but it disadvantaged the horses on the front line that did stand. All of a sudden they found themselves in back half of field after 20metres

Hesi
Watched some of the coverage, and what a vibe, a buzz around Addington, fabulous. Don't ever let a half baked twit like Chris Weaver have any say in anything to do with Cup Week. We used to have an awesome 4 day carnival at Ellerslie and he thought he could double it, by having 2 carnivals. Now we are left with no carnivals, even Karaka Million night has more glitz.
