Tassie Tiger scored the Q in the last to win the day - well done cobber ! - but he need to as Secret Squirrel came home like a rocket with the trifecta to nearly reel in our Tasmanian friend in. Maria (1st BB) held on for third with Gordy securing 4th with a BB on the winner and Punter Pete taking 5th with a BB quinella. Moz also found the quinella to secure 6th ahead of another fast finisher in Smiler who snagged a BB quinella. Ian, Graeme and the Blues brothers Howie and Geoff drew a blank in the last. NG takes home the Timid Terry jersey for some repairs after a turbulent day ! Tomorrow its last chance saloon at Otaki and Yarra Glen so load up on the wine and select the winning combos. Do not forget that if you dont make the Grand Final there is a consolation Final on Saturday for everyone else.

You might have missed my bb in the last Peter. Every cent counts when we get to the business end of the comp.

Thanks.

Sorry Gordy I did when compiling the selections. Fixed up now. The internet has been down so apologies for the delay

Thanks in advance PJ for running such an excellent individual comp.  The format and slick delivery of almost 100% accurate results, always before the next race belies the enormous effort and organisation that goes in on your part.  An effort that no one should underestimate or take for granted.

Last chance saloon tomorrow.  I think my run has come to an end, so will not qualify for the final, but I am in a group of some of the finest selectors on this site, so that's okay.

So much so, I am picking the average aggregate in the Presidents Final will be a lot higher than the qualifying final, especially if Maxi qualifies lol.  There you go, red rag to a bull and a target on my back for sure.  Never mind, as Maxi said, if you throw the borax around you need to expect quite a bit coming back lol

A couple of Comp Directives for today.

Comp race 3 (Yarra Valley R3) has only 4 runners. As per historical precedent the $10 each way investment becomes a $20 win investment for this race only.

In the event of a qualified finalist not posting selections on Saturday for the Grand Final, todays runner-up to todays qualifier will become first and only reserve for the Grand Final
