Is that really an issue We've had people like that in charge before and it hasn't helped You would hope he demands accountability from those that he eventually puts into key positions, not the dressed up garbage we saw from people like Bayliss and Brown

I'd feel better if I knew he had ever been to the races since he was a student, or if he had a TAB or BF account and had an odd bet.
ngakonui grass
He will surround himself with those that are in the know and go from there. I only hope none of them are those self interest chaps from several years ago.

Not that the Minister for Racing has a lot to say in the future of racing but there's a good chance she'd get the right people in the right places. Globederby19
Pardon the "expression" but do you think they(the hard heads) would listen to a "carpet licker", in all reality. No I don't think they would take her seriously to be honest. Call it Patriarchal bias but her gender leaning ways maybe a detrimental factor. Good on her for her fresh ideas, speaking out, and passion. Adolf had it in spades. Pardon my normal demeanour Hesi. Im not a Green fan or a Cloe fan either.

It doesn't matter who they take note of - if they make the rules. I'm no greenie, couldn't give a toss about their political views or their gender preferences. But more staid old men - sounds perfect.

I don't see Robertson doing anything - which will simply advance the animal cruelty brigade's argument. Which is the problem - you need someone to push on some key areas to bring about change. That isn't going to happen either from within or from the government. Which is perfect for the group that want racing stopped. Far better to advance the issue to bring about change now, than wait until it is too late. Edited November 4, 2020 by mardigras
