Yep Tannahill a very poor result for the Canes.  Time for a wee hedge bet - that should stop it!

not like you to get spooked so early on, SNM ...better put a bob each way on Macs, too ...quiet whisper from the stable is that it's a lot better than average

Just watched a very good horse in Gold Watch win at Te Rapa, with a 90 year old trainer.Just curious if anybody knows the oldest trainer in Nz to win a race. Also the oldest Jockey

Sounded like a real gentleman in the post-race interview. Saw him in his previous post-race interview and I thought he looked about 70-ish. Very surprised to find out today he is 90. Thought to myself surely he is the oldest current horse-trainer in the world. He's gonna enjoy a lot more success with this one. Very nice horse.

When I thought I might not be able to post before fields became available was only horse I told Maria to put in for me. Not sure why the Boss didn't put it in picks😀. Great money too.

Kauri Kats can pull one back with Sweet Anna, Slave To Love, Beautiful Nightmare or Canuhandleajandal, can pull two back with Bella Button and can seize the lead with Needle and Thread

Hurricanes go further ahead with Amarelinha while Il Affare helps

and the word Amarelinha is apparently Portuguese for Hopscotch (dam of Amarelinha).

I do hope it gets beat today though ...
