Hi Peter, sorry I didn't see that you were asking for folk to cover, I can do that for you if you want 🙂

Thanks Maria. You can choose the meetings but my suggestion would be Gosford on Tuesday and Riccarton on Wednesday. You choose the 5 consecutive races.

Many thanks again

November Round 5 :  Comp Race 3 :  Gosford Race 5

Second Placing:  11  Go Isla Go  $3.60

Third Placing:  2  Here Comes Hogan  $3.90

Scrs:  1,4,5,7       Fave:  9

The fave Cosy Corner takes out the 5th in the hands of Jason Collett much to the delight of BC, Pete, Rocky Way, Stevie and PJ, who carry on to the next, albeit with not much in the piggy bank.   The second and third placegetters unfortunately had no fans and some decent place money goes wanting.

We lose a further 7 with the fancied Field of Myrtle not running in the money.

BC and Stevie leading the way on $26.40 after three !

11 First Person, the Kris Lees runner, is carrying the hopes of 3 of 5 in the next.

Eliminated:  Gee (0.20), Our Maizcay, Geoff (0.80), Graeme, Rees, Secret Squirrel (0.20), NG.

November Round 5 :  Comp Race 4 :  Gosford Race 6

First Placing:  7  Flying Rani  $1.50

Second Placing:  1  Fire Tribe  $4.00

Third Placing:  15  Tannenburg  $2.10

Scrs:  2,3,9,12,16      Fave:  8

The much favoured 11 First Person got swamped in the straight after challenging for the lead.   The Matt Smith trained Flying Rani was too strong, with Fire Tribe and Tannenburg running on to grab the minors.   Only super scorer Pete, in the money on the Waller placegetter Tannenburg and he marches on to the last with all eyes on 1 My Truth to run in the money - currently paying upwards of $3.00 for the place ..  Go Molly Bourke !!  good luck !! 🙂

Survivor heading into the Last :     Pete (Q)  $ 23.40

November Round 6 : Comp Race 3 : Riccarton Race 7

First Placing:  3  Fashion Shoot  $3.30

Second Placing:  2  Live Drama  $2.20

Third Placing:  15  Miss Layla  $8.90

Scrs:  17, 18    Fave:  6

All the favoured runners had their chance but the long Riccarton straight was all that Fashion Shoot needed to steal the show and was a convincing winner in the end.    The Robinson trained Live Drama hung on for second and the outsider Miss Layla, in the hands of Wiremu Pinn, boosted the trifecta.

Sadly we lose our 4 survivors ...  but they don't go away empty handed all pocketing some loose change to add to their totals.

Eliminated:  BC (0.60), Geoff (0.60), PJ (0.60) and the big winner of the day Gordy (0.80)! 🙂
