Pretty good prizes and more my style for a comp than what we get elsewhere so I'm having a crack. Here's a snip of one race from the sample submission form so you can see what is required for that. Haven't watched all of this but seems like quite a good show. Night and day from the endless replays of old races that you get on Weigh In. Pip needs a bit of coaching to at least straighten out her English but seems to do a pretty good job and has Te Reo down pat unlike the weigh in idiots.

I'm reading it that the NZTR contribution will go from 200k to 300k for them all. The extra comes from clubs and sponsors for some of them but the cost is $2m from the additional $20m funding.

I think you worked it out wrong. There were 20 Group 1s this season, so that's $2m or 10% of the funding increase for stakes. Over 750 mdn races that's more than 2500 per race. A significant improvement on top of what they have already allocated though not where I would probably have spent it.

I don't think that has much to do with NZTR. That's Entain's business now. They've already said they want to add a 3rd trackside channel so I wouldn't be surprised if they are also considering adding or restoring other coverage such as radio. Give them a chance.
