  1. The Black caps are back in action (or inaction ) depending how you loo at it. How's the ground scenery ? a place with no grandstand and looks like a scenic place from days gone by. very nice. The Aussies can have a picnic on the outer while fielding today 😁🏏😎🍻
  2. Thanks Boss. Here's the best one yet . No Swift involved πŸ˜‚ , good for us old farts, and the footy is back this week πŸ† . should re-write this to suit PJ's Comp ? 😁
  3. Jammo and his Magic friends have found out they have drawn 'The Factory' this week . Is Party time and hard study by the look of it ? 😁
  4. The songs are like school kids songs , the one Max posted from sydney is just awful. It's like stuff kids sing in the shower. She captured the kids market.....(like Katie Perry did with Roar and Firework and that sort of bland stuff.) Craigs play list here (mostly from us old farts πŸ˜„) leaves anything from Swifty and Perry , (and the spicey's and Spears) in the Dust for quality and musical brilliance.
  5. hahaha no there's still more cricket to come VC. starting Friday . "They messed about and got caught out" ..Howzat ...😎🏏
  6. every second or third man's Mothers name in Italy is Maria. a bit of 'Ave Maria' is big in Catholic Weddings too 😎
  7. You are a World famous Motivation Maria , especially Italy πŸ˜πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ
  8. There's a 2nd Test Max 🏏🏏🏏🏏. Are you saving some re-ranting events and Acts for that one ? best to keep something in the locker 😎 ... for hard times. Sorry to let the Factory down yesterday Max. I just worked out that The rotten 'snotter' photo finish loss by my BestBet DRAGON πŸ‰ LEAP in the first PJ event probably cost me the days victory over SteveP (who had the victor in that race). Anyways , congrats to Steve getting the single joker victory for his team with good wins , and we get a -1 for the factory , (which equals the Blackcaps score in the Tests so far πŸ˜‰) . we'll have to bowl bodyline I think next up maxi ??🀣
  9. Went very well PJ . was coming home like a train. He'll win next time.
  10. Mr Fox Graeme your oppo, has 'Hard To Say' as well , so will be cheering for his pick to lose against you mate πŸ˜‚, while he tries to fend you off Max. Democracy Manifest a nice Fresh up horse too. good Luck !
  11. you're back Max . Nice work with the Southport Tycoon . Give Graeme a fright. πŸ˜‚. Paid $19.00 here too so you were sold short in Nz. alas I had Robrick the same as you and took the Tycoon (a horse we have been following with the great Queensland name) in Johns comp , but Steve Paul has been kicking my Butt here anyway 😁 . should of popped it here though to keep him on his toes. looks like the mighty Seagulls are getting the chips today .
  12. if still open can i have Best bet Olentia replaced please PJ scratched in comp race 9 is number 3 replace with number 6 Ausbred Flirt . sounds a good name πŸ˜‚
  13. Pretty keen Max ? . you been watching too much cricket ? 🀣 you, gee, barb and l have a massive range in the Aus races. 7 out of 8 different in all Five Aussie races it seems, so will be hard to take the victory . But if JUST AS SHARP can pull off the miracle (and beat Orchestral) and Win the Derby there , the Factory will be in good shape . Best of Luck mate.
  14. The great Uncle Remus often cleared out in front for Bobby Vance in his big 3 year old year. what a ripper combo they were. A winner of the Nz Derby that year too, (with this years Derby addition on today as well ). Beaten in the Great Northern Guinea's because got too far back , Jillo said "we'll lead from the front from now on " and went on a BIG Uncle Remus 10 wins in succession run.
  15. Cheer up lads . you got a win in 2011 in Hobart . so all is not lost. Lyon on hunches falling just 7 runs short of Victory . Warner carried his bat 2nd Innings. 123 Not out. an incredible rare feat to bat an entire 4th innings of a test match. But Bracewell snagged 6 for 40 including Ponting , Capt Clarke and Hussey . A Great Nz Win
  16. You're always a strong Front-runner Robert .😁 As far as horses go . Anything that barrels along in front and can still hang on from the Alligator and Mr Brightside who's winning everything , gets my vote . She (Pride of Jenni) could be an 'All Star Mile' champion shortly .
  17. Ravinous Seagulls Rees and Graeme swooping in for some easy Fush and Chups in the sand as Gee and Max look a likely target. STYX thought that last week and were left with just a few scraps of the lemon and tartar sauce to suck a point or 2 out of the factory lol. πŸ˜… Best of Luck to oppo Seagull Steve Paul and hoping Pete doesn't have to much issues with the mrs in their clash . Just tell Barb to 'Takes the greys' mate πŸ˜…. easy way out.πŸΎπŸ˜‰ Ellers5/ 2 - 3 BB It's Year of the Dragon , and being a dragon birth year for me too, surely with Imperatriz Oppie on board , he gets this home this time round . And'it's Leap year day too today. too good. Com'on DRAGON LEAP . πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰ Ellers6/ 3 - 10 Ellers7/ 2 - 7 Ellers8/ 6 - 11 Ellers9/ 1 - 17 Flemington7/ 5 - 16 Flemington8/ 1 - 3 Randwick8/ 5 - 8 Randwick9/ 3 - 8 BB Randwick10/ 11 - 13 and go the Baggie Greens 🏏 !! (nice century to Cam Green day 1 just finished) . this is First test match in Nz for 8 years with Blackkcaps v Australia. could be a closer struggle than Factory v Reapers lol.
  18. was looking at a Jan 2021 Inglis on-line sale where lot 20 Mellors had the dam of Koiro Trelay in it's pedigree . paste >> 5th dam CORRIEONZO, by Alonzo (GB). 4 wins from 8ΒΌf to 11f in NZ. Half-sister to GOLDEN DEFAULTER. Dam of 5 foals, 3 to race, 2 winners, inc:- Corrieann. Raced twice. Dam of 2 winners- KOIRO TRELAY (c Trelay) 12 wins-3 at 2-from 1000m to 3200m, NZ$122,965, A$500, New Zealand Cup, Gr.1, Wellington Cup, Gr.1, Manawatu Cup, Gr.3, Hawke's Bay Guineas, L, Marton JC TG Taylor Memorial H., Feilding JC Goodbehere Memorial H., Woodville DJC President's H., Otaki Maori RC President's H., Rangitikei H., Manawatu RC Santa Rosa S., 3d Wellington Cup, Gr.1, Pahiatua WFA S., Gr.3. Sire.
  19. lol . well from a quick look at a TB Sales Catelogue it says Koiro Trelay best off-spring as a sire was a Group 3 winner. But don't know who that was. The scenery looks like Aus in the background , but the young 'Balding at young age' man walking the dog and 'without a hat' as well makes me think somewhere in NZ based on that criteria . πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
  20. That is the great Koiro Trelay .....and if that is Trentham (and you would be the ideal person for that Maria 😁 ) you're well on your way to getting the Treble too, that Koiro Trelay attempted ?
  21. Here you go PJ an early Thursday Trivia for you . (or any RIP racing enthusiast ) This bloke tried for a Big Treble one year taking out the first 2 legs in impressive fashion and fin 10th in the third leg. Who is this handsome Steed and what was the Treble he tried for ?
  22. That is sad to lose them like that.( I near wept recently thinking of Verry Elleegant losing the life battle foaling recently) . Have never bred a horse before so think I will bucket list that for one year. seems an exciting venture. You must of seen a fair few mares with foals over the years PJ ? a true master of your craft. Just a footnote on the gut blockage regarding surgery : as over the years with dogs the most common distressed animals coming in were middle sized dogs that had swallowed the corn cob from a KFC feed the owners had , and the dog gets the scraps after the humans finish but some will forget the chewed off cob is pretty hard and solid and not digesting , so gets stuck on occasion. an expensive feed in the end after Emergency surgery , could be $1000'sπŸ’°
  23. That is amazing PJ. must be something else to see those surgical sites first hand in people and the amazing things doctors can do. I was lucky enough to do many years in vet surgery after the trotting days of a couple of decades, and we did amazing things with horses, dogs and cats . quite a challenge at times. Horse anaesthesia is a huge challenge and loved every minute of it. We had a a couple of acute colics where the horse was all but cactus and the surgeon ended up cutting these like bowling balls out of the intestines . was the most extroadinary thing I've seen. Parts of California, Australia and Sweden i think it is have soil composition and certain minirals that makes some horses form these things in their guts over a period of time. too big to pass so they get bigger and bigger. was insane digging them out. The horses recovered fine afterwards too .
  24. He looked to be struggling a bit mate. Nor even the old Auckland Rain could help in the 3rd match today. Go the mighty Baggies πŸ’°πŸπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί Think some of these Blackcaps T20 cricketers would be better placed in the Factory on Saturdays Max?. πŸ˜… or maybe Not , as you had a Win yesterday at the Factory (very well done Mate) , so they mighten'ed make the Grade. Could be SEAGULL grade players ? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  25. Scratching replacement from Blue Diamond Caulfield with Bodyguard(3) out. Can I have 4 and 12 instead please PJ . Eneeza might give Moods and Lane a Big day. and OM Not so much πŸ˜‰. CAULFIELD race 8 : 4 - 12 p.s..... Best of Luck with your triple Joker play!! πŸ† against the mighty Maria 'Show-off's . A win for you could see the 'OLD MATES' round up the rowdy 'Reapers' and push them back out of the Top 4 after they beat up on the 'Factory'. 😁😎
