Round 9 - Sat Dec 11

Race 5 - Randwick R5

1st - 5 El Padrino W-$8.00   P-$2.70

2nd - 4 Calgary Stampede P-$2.60

3rd - 1 Athletica P-$2.30

Scr: 7

A canny 11 found the lesser favoured Maher/Eustace runner including Richie who bags a BB to zoom to the lead while Ziggy also on the winner to steal into 4th. None of the top 10 scored a win so the table compacts somewhat as that points plimsoll takes another decent bump up dropping Pam, Winfreux, Rex and Hesi out of the points.

Gordy on his own on the Newitt winner as he jumps up to 6th spot while BBs on the runner-up take Jack and Midnight Caller into the points as the points plimsoll takes a decent leap. Who claims the final wuffie at Sandown ?

That had the blood pressure going. Looked like Waisaka had got up, even said so with the provisional result. I double checked on the TAB site and low and behold Comanche Brave had held on. Bad luck Midnight C, you would have distanced me if Waisaka had got up.
