Thanks PJ for the comp opportunity , I think getting to score 63 ( a very good year too) and is enough comp points as well for an amateur galloper picker , and so am stepping aside at that for this comp. 

Been a very tough week , seeing all the poor folk in Kentucky,  totally smashed to pieces, and now today, another 'Wind' event has devastated 5 families in my home-state Tasmania killing 5 x 10 year-olds at school right before Christmas. so am just broken-hearted and  unable to pick Otaki or Sat racing . 

At least the Interdominion harness racing did Oz and Nz proud with some fine racing over past 2 weeks, so did enjoy that , and the Baggie Greens doing Aussie proud Yet Again in the Ashes cricket, so will try and enjoy that for the while', as love those 'traditional'  type events. 

Will see Rex for the harness comp Sunday (as is a team event so better try hard for team by then) .

What the hell happened to Pinkerton in that race ?? Traveled nicely in midfield creeping forward on the rail to the 600 and ready to strike then all of a sudden head in the air like it was shot and lost about 6 lengths then ran on in the straight from well back to be beaten a nose for 4th !! Strange ride...
