Hesi
You might recall, John used to run an individual comp as above, and get a bit dismayed at the lack of banter, compared with team comps My response was always, that people don't like to blowhard about their own performances, whereas in team comps when you blibbed on a bit, it was always about the team
craigos1
I wasn't a fan of Say No More (just saying) He always wanted to wait till everyone else had posted and would adjust his picks to have 6 or 7 different from his opponent. I do all Comps on a fun basis with no help with selections unless when in a Team event one of my Teammates have the oil for something.

I think his modus operandi suffered when we went to the current model of hiding picks in a team comp.

JustPlodded
I think yesterdays comp was decided by a couple of races at Riccarton. All shorties at Kensington. I fell into the trap of going for likely winners and not nearly rough enough. I have followed that Darci Bloody Palmer for the last few starts in these comps and just when you finally say "enough is enough" in they stroll and Ziggie was on it to twist the knife! Trentham... now there is a place with a reputation and it ain't for shorties.
