Maximus
Max has a fab idea for The Legendary Scorer to consider. Add the end of the Comp but before the Grand Final, admit one entrant - the highest aggregate in the 14 Rounds from the entrant who hasn't qualified by winning an individual leg/round. Someone can come up with a name for it ... MONEYBAGS ...MONEYMAKER....SHOW ME THE MONEY... woteva The key benefit of this is that it will keep everybody interested, nay inspired, for longer - even if they have a 'poor patch' along the way or don't win in any given week. And then, for once, Max will be able to say the magic words: Aggregates do matter!" MM
Globederby19
You are always giving PJ headaches Maxi. The poor guy has kept us entertained for many years with some ripper comps, in his own time , so maybe he can set his own modus operandi . Ideas are fine and I am not at all advocating that we don't suggest tweaks to the system, but it should be taken with a view that if it ends up placing more work on his plate , we should leave well enough alone. Ian snags the Q to go 2nd with a trio of Geoff, Pete and Anita up to share 3rd with BBs on the Doyle destroyer. The scorer dons the Timid Terry jersey 😒

PWJ
Round 2 - Saturday December 2 Comp Race 3 - Caulfield R5 1st - 1 Just Folk W-$2.70 P-$1.40 2nd - 8 Danish Fortune P-$3.80 3rd - 6 Keats P-$1.70 Q - $21.60 TF - $131.00 Scr: 3(L) Subs: #1 then #6 then #4 Ian and Pete join the last chance list as they draw a blank as Robert continues to lead but remember if he wins the 2nd-placed finisher qualifies for the GF. Best collect is a trifecta for Black Caviar who moves to a clear 2nd. A 1st/3rd for Punter Pete elevates him to 3rd ahead of Our Maizcay (1st/3rd also) with Geoff and Anita (win only) dropping to share 5th. PJ still Timid Terry though Zig is looking worried.
