Wow what a cooool dude!! Big ups to the backing band...got my toes tapping☺️

I looked him up, because only vaguely familiar with him.  He had a song that was no1 in NZ back in 1968, just when you were probably skipping high school Wayne to go to the local TAB

Probably best known for his version of the Dylan classic.

3 weeks ago Marc Bolan would have turned 75. Sobering thought....

He is always young and vibrant in our eyes due to his tragic death before the age of 30. I wonder what kind of music he would be playing if he were alive today ? I see him as a Bowie-like figure who would have gone through several musical "stages". Enjoy - HOT LOVE

Marc Bolan. Ran second to Young Quinn at Qunnies first start. Not to be denied and showed those fighting qualities from an early age and the rest is History. Bit of trivia

I had arranged to have the late Judith Durham sing at our wedding about 10 years ago but as we never got beyond the engagement it never transpired. Her voice always sends shivers up my spine. I have met Keith Potger from The Seekers a couple of times. Terrific chap. Here's a little heard cover from them-

I discovered the Guess Who on a Friday night long drive to Pukekohe from New Plymouth in my brother-in-law's Chrysler Valiant 770 SE Charger (the big 5.5L V8 version) when i was about 12 years old. Couldn't believe how good they sounded. They seem to have drifted into music history's subconscious these days. This might have been their finest hour-
