Maximus
Tis the Sunday after the Nofunday the day before. Captain Max has confiscated the keys to the MX5, which sustained minor damage at the hands of the dirty Lowdowns. Like many crashes, it looked worse than it was. Most heinous was the fact that some villain had put a blimmin’ old Boz Scaggs CD in the slot (pic below take from the scene of the crime). MX3 reckons he knows the name of the guilty party, yer honour! So…well done, Pete, Sharne, Steve P, Moz and Robert .. thoroughly deserved with a decent total on a tough day ...just ask Tom, Hesi, Rees, ummm Max …. What can we salvage from that wreckage? · The only team above MX5 on the points table has already played its Joker (no asterisk there yet though, eh PJ !!) · The ever-dangerous PIKO have played theirs. · Max has a secret recipe for spiking Hot Toddys so they go cold very quickly. Heads-up, lads. We shall return to the fray with a remodelled MX5 vee-hicle. Vroom vroom! Thanks PJ MM aka MX3 Edited July 10, 2021 by Maximus 2

PWJ
MAXIMAK Made a bit of history on Wednesday night when my business partner of sorts (Dave Morrissey) and I combined to buy Smart Missile mare Maximak for $420k making her the most expensive racing/breeding proposition sold through an online sale. Maximak was one of my own matings, being sold by Arrowfield for $140k as a yearling. She has won 4 races to date and was recently Gr2 placed in Adelaide. Bought for one of my best clients, she will be mated to Dundeel eventually. We are just deciding whether to continue to race her or retire her now. She is also a full sister to the current very smart mare Missile Mantra.
Dancing Show
You had me at Smart Missile 🙂 Nice purchase. Missile Mantra.. I took her for the Punter's Club in her first start and she paid $20 for a win, she's certainly gone on from that.
