Globederby19
Well done Hot Baches last gasp effort. Ian might not have his internet on yet so I will start by thanking PJ for including Ziggys picks. He did indeed post them the night before so a bit of a speed bump there. One of our worst efforts to be sure on a hard day for some , but we kept the damage to a minimum. Well done Mr Aybees ,toppled an underperforming team today. Not sure how that leaves our position but at least we have nxt week to exonerate ourselves. Thanks PJ for another superlative effort today. Happy Sunrise also got the final winner to clinch Man of the Match honours while Pete edged Midnight Caller for Wurzels' MVP honours. The Wurzels all missed in the last but held on for the win. The late flurry from the Hot Baches was enough to earn them a bonus point for a superior aggregate. Neither of Offngone's two hopes for a turnaround yelped so the Mr Aybees held on for the win even though none even broke the $100 mark individually. Glad firstly to my team , we've been nabbed in the last race a couple of times , so pleased obviously that we hung on. Commiserations Ian and your Offngone teammates , you have been the benchmark team thus far, I hope floodwaters decline and weather improves where you live Ian. Congratulations Ray and your Surf 'N' Turf teammates a big win today means your in with a big chance. Many thanks PJ , quite frankly you rock. Rayzor
Thanks Max & the Factors. You guys stuck like glue to us for most of the way. Your position in the table doesn't do justice to your performances this comp. Good luck next weekend. Fantastic stuff SNT! The pressure was on for points, we stepped up and now we've given ourselves a chance. GOJ was star-man today followed by curse buster Geoff. As for Graeme, dead & buried on the home turn but flew down down the outside to take another nose decision for the 2nd week running. Yes, the heart could probably take one more of those Graeme. 😉 And the king, we've got him chomping at the bit for next week's finale. March 12th. I better mark that down on the calendar....Oh I already have. 2
