Written Beauty wasn't paying enough for The Kats even if it had got up and their other chances never yelped so The table leaders held on to win. No one found the final winner although The Kauri Kats took a bonus point for a higher aggregate.Graeme was a dominant Man of the Match while Tassie Tiger was Waikato MVP.

Decent Raine gave the 'Naki crew a big fright but was run down late so the Ferdies held on to win taking a bonus point for a team profit. The Turbos may not have won but their Triple Joker play yielded 6 points as they collected bonuses for a team profit and higher aggregate . Blind Squirrel was their MVP and unlucky to draw Man of the Match Maurice who has finally returned to form as we knew he would. No one found the final winner.

The Swampies looked like they were going to pull it off 100m out with Written Beauty and Decent Raine fighting out the finish before the winner arrived on the scene. Roland not only found the winner but added the quinella to reel in Rees and extend the Blues' winning margin to 4-1 which was worth another two points overall added to that for a team profit. Punter Pete was the Swampies' MVP and unlucky to draw Man of the Match Smiler who tipped 7 winners.

The Highlanders hearts were racing inside the last 100 metres as Decent Raine and Written Beauty staked winning claims but were headed at the line by the Warrnambool wuffie which no one selected. The Otago lads were compensated with bonus points for a higher aggregate and team profit thanks in huge part to Hesi's remarkable return to form to triumph as Man of the Match while his opponent Secret Squirrel - The Pies' MVP - is at the vets getting treatment.

The Chief's late win today extended their lead at the top from 6 to 8 points and look safe for a Finals berth. The Turbos played their Triple Joker and although failing to win garnered enough points to climb 3 spots to 2nd demoting the Swamp Foxes (who lost) and The Ferdies - who nevertheless beat them !

The Kauri Kats slipped back a place to 5th in defeat while the Blues Joker play win lifted them two places to 6th. The Magpies and Highlanders each took two points from their encounter but each lost a spot on the table.

Seven Jokers to come over the final two rounds of the Round Robin.
