You need to pick 5 horses per race at Addington Friday night.

In addition you need to specify whether you want one, two or all of the exotic bet types - Quinella, Trifecta, First Four.

The winner of the contest will be the person who makes the largest profit or, if no one turns a profit, the smallest loss.

Bets will be $1 boxed so the cost is $10 per quinella, $60 per trifecta and $120 per first four.

Scratchings can be replaced up to first race start time but there will be no subs after that (too tricky for the scorer).

Example post:

R1 1x2x3x4x5 Q F

R2 6x7x8x9x10 T F

In race 1 you're choosing Quinella and First Four.

In race 2 you're choosing Trifecta and First Four.

This is all about your appetite for risk. It's going to be fun.

Winner gets  a $5 Trixie at the Sunday Harness meeting.

Strategy. First four in some of those is a bridge too far with money on the line. If I thought first four was a chance then throw in the tri, reasoning that quinnie not returning enough with $1 wager. Who knows with thieves' on wheels, I might end up 1000 bucks in the red. 🤣

and suits my brilliant formula. Only go for the 5 best Allstars- Orange-SamO-CarterD-JohnnyDunn ( 5 mins to pick them out , no study needed lol)

Interesting concept.  Some races I feel that even if one gets Tri  and/or FF they will still lose money with 5 boxed but who knows with Cheats on Seats.
