Thank you Howie and the Blues Brothers, always a fantastic and fun match - thank you 🥂  .. and always a surprise when I don't get Geoff in the draw 🙂  This time I got his bro - fun match Howie, thank you ...  apple doesn't fall far from the tree I guess 🙂

Swampsters..   I know I sprang the old Cubed Joker on you, but I thought it was better that we went in with no added pressure against the mighty'ish 🤗 Blues and I was right...    you did me proud 🙂  🥰  lovely dollar total over the round team and another beaut consistent effort Robert and amazing last minute sprint Rees... you rest up now 🙂

Thanks PJ...  don't neglect those broodmares 😉 and thanks for your work over the looooong weekend 🙂

Congrats, Maria and the Swamp Foxes on a successful Triple Joker play. 😙 You did well, and are a strong chance to take out this whole comp. It was a strange ole weekend's racing with the downturn in weather and track conditions. To be honest with work yesterday I didn't end up seeing a thing and have only caught up with the results this morning. So on to next weekend where we'll be looking to bounce back in a tough match against the Highlanders, who are much, much better than their 8th place in the standings would indicate. Both teams looking for improved performances to leap up the leaderboard.
Thanks, PJ, and see you Saturday, folks.

Du'Blues wins the first at Awapuni, a bad omen.  Hope the caerulean mob took the $16 on offer

Dem Blues have jumped with a wing on every hoof .....and it's only gonna get better from here.
I'm sensing is gonna be a great Saturday in Blues history.
Well spotted Hesi. 😀

Geez Gordy & Howie ,you two off to flyers.

Keep calm Highlanders  , 8 races too go.

WECANDOOSIT!!

2 Rounds played and 2 Mighty Blues losses have focused our attention and steeled our resolve, Craig. 🙂
But there's still plenty of water to go under the bridge today. Am taking nothing for granted.
