Ive got no idea whats going on but we'll run with it

It's always easier with a great team behind you, fair to say Richie is one of the best tipsters in the comp, Jamison as dangerous as anyone, new kid on the block Secret Squirrel starting to hit his straps and the dynamic Stevie N

Big win by Fireburn checked at the 700, to pick herself up and win comfortably amazing,

For Maria:

Stewards Report from Final Comp Race on Saturday:

Ballistic Lover Began awkwardly. Raced wide and without cover throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination of Ballistic Lover, which was eased down over the concluding stages, revealed the mare was slow to recover. Trainer Mr J. Pride will be interview regarding the performance of the mare.

Has since been retired and will be sold at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale in May

Hi everyone. Just wanted to start by saying I am gutted this morning that Shalatin is scratched from the Golden Slipper. I bought Shalatin's dam Arcadia Delight privately from Bob Peters a couple of years back for my Hawkes Bay client Dave Morison and obviously did the mating with Shalaa which produced Shalatin. The mare's half-sister Arcadia Queen subsequently emerged as one of Australia's best mares which made us all pretty happy and considerably increased the mare's value.

Trainer Joe Pride assured us Shalatin would finish in the first 3 or 4 in the Slipper but came down with a hoof abscess yesterday and is out as a result.   We hope he can recover for a tilt at the other two Gr1 races for 2yos at The Championships being the Sires Produce and the Champagne Stakes. Racing can be a cruel sport sometimes.

The good news is that Shalatin (orange jacket) has overcome his lameness and trialled very impressively at Warwick Farm this morning winning under a strong hold with his head on his chest. Roll on to the Sires Produce next week and pray for the rain to piss off:

Time to open the Mighty Blues corporate wallet on Affogato Girl, to weigh her down a tad.
Let's see if we can't pay off the new $4.4b dollar Auckland City Rail Link with our return ..if there is a return. ☺️
