Former leader Gee loses a life but his mate Rob (life lost in the Steeple) charges to the lead as the only competitor on the winner (had 3rd also). Craig - on the 2nd & 3rd runners - now up to 4th while Ray is up to 5th with the Woodville wuffie taking 3rd. Plenty on probation as we head to a wide open 2500m race in Melbourne. LB, PJ and Ray were among 8 to fall at the final hurdle leaving Graeme to take 2nd despite missing in the last with Black Caviar 3rd. We lost 3/4 of the field during the course of the day. Thanks everyone for playing. Geoff through to the Grand Final on July 29 so just 3 rounds remain to find three more Grand Finalists. Next week we go to Te Rapa, Awapuni, and Caulfield.
