PWJ
ROUND 11 - Sat Mar 16 Just 4 rounds remain in the Round-Robin and we kick off Round 11 at Trentham before ducking to Caulfield for a small but tricky field in the opener there. Back to Trentham for 4 races culminating in the NZ Oaks. Then we are off to Sydney for the Maurice McCarten presenting another puzzle before a star-studded All-Star Mile South of the border where great prices will be on offer outside the hot fave. We return to Rosehill for a Group 1 mares handicap with a ton of chances and then the vital-as-hell last race with 5 last start winners and a slew of form outside those. Top of the bill this week is the clash between smooth leaders Kaos and an Old Mate outfit looking to bounce back from last week's loss. 5 points and a $600+ aggregate separate them and it looks like a high-scoring affair with 3 of the Magnificent Seven featuring. Styx and Showtime - also separated by 5 points - are two sides on an upward progression and meet head-on with the all-Captains HTH between Maria and Howie a key battle. The Seagulls win last week may be the start of a run that could take them into Finals contention but meet no easy opponent in the Magic crew who need to re-group around the cauldron and find some new spells. Anita will be looking to pour more misery on Rees while Jammo & the Brown Fox will be trying to hunt each other down ! Finally The Reapers look sure to deploy a Joker against the Max Factory crew who need nothing less than a 5-zip result. I expect some fireworks in this one especially in the LB vs Hesi match-up, sure to be sprinkled with plenty of trash talk ! Remember you must have at least 6 different picks (of 20) for those who post after their opponent Please post on time. Let's have some fun and note the closing time... Close off at 12.33pm (NZ time) Races are: 1. Trentham R3 - 1.33pm - Harrison's Flooring Premier - $65k, 1600m, R75 BM 2. (good win/loss ratio: very modest aggregate scored : people not scoring much against me) Howie (7/3-1787.40/1826.40) . . . and then I saw my mate Craig's record ! 😁 Craig (8/2-1906.80/1176.60) Good if ya can get away with it ! 🙂 For our Gordy playing Craig on Saturday, you know your mission, now go forth and prosper. Mission Not Impossible. In the unlikely event that anything goes wrong, Gordy, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions or inactions. Maximus
Howie, the Mustelidian Mind (MM) has just conjured up an image of that '60s/7os blonde hottie from Mission Impossible - Barbara Bain, I think, is the name. Hesi
Even if we lose LB, which is always a possibility as most teams can beat anyone else on the day, we still have our 3X joker to play, which you unfortunately have squandered. Sure, we could miss the finals, there are some good teams around and we are a huge 4 points off 3rd, BUT with an absolute maximum of 20 points available to you guys, I think it will be the Maxis who miss the finals. Good luck anyway. I note your own form has dropped off substantially from the Lucky 7, when you were on fire, why is that.

PJ just won't put Menangle up on the raceboard for me to get some form 😂. so have to linger at the back of the pack in this strong PJ line up..... but do Think we got the Presidents Cup with Chief's is about the form level 😅. so Maybe Meet the Reapers in a Presidents Cup 🏆 in this Comp ?? unless you can fire the lads up a bit and 'Reaper Up' a Win or 2 in the near future to get in the Top half..... 😉 The boys are not swinging the Sythe blade hard enough maybe ? You better show em' how it's done young fella 🏇🏇🃏 warm that joker up 🔥⚡ don't let the cricket play on your mind or anything , what went wrong 😁🍻🏏 1
