A top effort from Howie today sees him extend his lead to 24 points but he hasn't claimed the crown yet. Geoff and Richie can still nail him if it all falls apart at Te Aroha and Gilgandra tomorrow. The rest of us are playing for pride and a higher finishing position. Thanks everyone. See you tomorrow.

Really, Rees ? 😃

I think you'll find in this photo at the Alexandra Park stabling area mid to late 1960s one 'Too Fast' ...the little guy on the far right.

On the far left, one PT Wolfenden, a more-than-useful 😊 reinsman of his time.
Also in the photo, Charlie Faulkner.

So the Blues Bros are (Howie is the short one) :

The horse I've followed badly (every start till it arrived in Perth) where it has found it's mojo is a 3.7 chance in Perth Cup.

So with alcohol flowing I've just put 50 on Neufbosc (tote).

I'm not going to say how much I had on it in Early Betting for 2019 Melbourne Cup.

Max, before the racing even started I bet you was already smiling all the way to the bank when saw I was your opposition today 🤣

I like to get at least 1 win under my belt just so I don’t have to do a “down those blue jeans” but it’s now your turn to take centre stage 😉🥂

Maxi nearly just had had kittens ..(a tricky thing for a male mustelid) ...checked Baby's picks and saw this ...

R3: 2 & 4

holy shite, thought the Mustelid, an $1100 result for She of the Talking Blue Jeans... then realised we are up to Comp R4 not R3 ...
