You ask a question, re idea. Im the only 1 to put forward an idea in an effort to try to help ya. And this is your response.

Ok whatevs.

Sorry Karrots . Appreciate your  input, didn't mean any offense. To be honest considering the number of people on this site , the response was what I expected. Everyone has their own views , and I thank those that have given their own ideas on a remedy .

Its interesting watching from sidelines as this unfolds. A poll taken 1 in 3 Kiwis now support the protest. Also support is coming in from high profile peeps with reports of more set to follow. Either publicly announcing their support or stating they plan to go to Welly, talking to protestors or being down there protesting already.

A big divide re R Coutts announcement. He’s trending on Twitter of which majority are mocking him. In contrast on his Facebook page which he has approx 35k followers, majority are supporting & thanking him.

R Coutts - Sailer

G Kirkpatrick - Socialite

J Kerrison - Musician

T Robinson - Rugby

Dame T Turia - Ex Politician

W Peters - Ex Deputy PM

D Seymour - Politician

as for the journo who wrote the Turia/Ardern piece, (Zane Small).. he says:

She may have been referring to Ardern speaking at the International Union of Socialist Youth's World Council annual meeting in 2009, where she used the term "comrade" several times …

Jacinda wasn’t merely ‘speaking’, she was delivering the closing address as President of the International Union of Socialist Youth…and she used the word ‘comrade’ more than ‘a few times’…15 to be precise, in 7 minutes.

Haven't seen it yet? Here's all 7 sickening minutes of it, as JA tries to score as many Brownie points as possible with her fellow ideologues from the IUSY...this is 2009, remember...13 years on, she's doing incalculable damage to the the NZ economy, our social fabric and the Kiwi way of life. (Thank you, Winston.)

A leopard cannot change its spots. JA is, in my view, a hypocritical, cowardly and deceitful leader who is completely out of her depth as PM of a liberal democracy..

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the final comment on this long and tortured thread. I think we've pretty much covered all the angles and no one will be in any doubt about the views of those who have posted on this.

It's time to move on. One of the best times of the racing year in my opinion  so I would like you all to focus on that and pick some bloody winners. Feel free to share them on Punting Perspectives.

Political discussion is not going to be closed down but please remember this is primarily a gallops and harness site.
