The shotgun was pointed at road staff blocking access to homes that they were obviously desperate to get to to check for lost ones. Still not condoning it but puts a different slant on it and shows the level of hurt . They have set up another morgue at the Napier hospital apparently and authorities are trawling the harbour and inlets and beach fronts with nets , trying to find bodies. He wasn't affected but he had tears in his eyes as he stated it was worse than you see on the media coverage, absolute devastation. And even though forestry are working within the law with their logging, he reckons they have blood on their hands with so much slash taking out infrastructure/lives etc . I sincerely believe whenever a state of emergency is declared Police should be immediately armed and empowered to shoot looters on sight, as Roland suggested. Why do they do it ? The left globally has given everyone who is too lazy to believe they are entitled to take what they want because there's a global plot to keep them "poor". Almost all these people would take their lead from what they see on social media and if you are aware about the highly publicized looting that has gone on now for years in California where people just enter stores and take what they want and the workers and owners are told by authorities to resist and do nothing to stop them then you can see a template laid out for those who want to follow suit. This is about the global decline of societal and family values fueled by the left, with them believing that the great "equalizer" will follow. NO, chaos will follow. Watch this video made by some guys cruising through the affluent Californian city of Santa Monica as looters help themselves across the entire CBD despite the presence of dozens of Police, all in broad daylight. All with no concern about being recognized. This is not in the wake of anyone black being shot or a natural disaster this is just daytime robbery and excitement for the young believers in the future socialist glory state. Their "crutch" and excuse of course will be Black Lives Matter - NO, all fucking lives and livelihoods matter ! If you want to read the justification for entitlement then read the comments below the video. Many believe the looting is fully justified. This is indoctrination on a massive scale. When asked about the looting he stated "now was not the time to undertake such activity", to which Hosking asked "when is the right time ", for this to happen then.
